Description
editThis Wikiproject should replace the inactive Governments of Canada wikiproject. That's project is just too narrow of a subject and as been inactive for a while. This is a broad topic that will attract a lot more members. Everyone Dies In the End (talk) 04:29, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion
edit- The change in name makes sense, but you have to specify that the new project does not include the scope of WP:WikiProject Political parties and politicians in Canada nor WP:WikiProject Electoral districts in Canada. Those two projects contain so many small articles that it would overwhelm the politics list. —Arctic Gnome (talk • contribs) 07:46, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I would prefer something like 'Canadian politics and government' or 'Canadian government'. This is because politics may be defined in such a way that excludes much of government. Arctic Night 10:10, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I thought we wanted to limit this to only government. Expanding this topic to anything that can be described as "political" makes it's scope kind of vague. —Arctic Gnome (talk • contribs) 18:14, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
