The WikiProject has a number of infoboxes devoted to different tasks.
For creators and companies

For comics as a medium
edit- {{Infobox comics nationality}} - This template is designed for use with articles on the comics of a particular nation or region.
- {{Infobox comics genre}} - This template is designed for use with articles on the particular genres used in comics.
For publications
edit- {{Infobox graphic novel}} - This template is for graphic novels, manga volumes, European-style comic books, or any other single published comic works.
- {{Infobox comic book title}}- This template is intended for limited series
- {{Infobox comics story arc}} - This template is intended for story arcs that comprise only a portion of a title's full run or ran substantially through multiple title. For limited series use {{Infobox comic book title}}.
- {{Infobox comics meta series}} - This template is designed for articles that cover either: a comics series that spans multiple comics publications, generally limited series, such as Sin City or Locke & Key; have a character or team as a focus, such as Hellboy; a comic strip that has run as one among many in such publications. including strips which move from one publication to another, such as V for Vendetta or Rogue Trooper; or a grouping of comics publications or stories that were published with a loosely linked "theme", such as Faces of Evil or Marvel Noir. It is not intended for: comics strips which run in newspapers or non-comics magazines; story arcs, which should use {{Infobox comics story arc}}; Manga, Asian nor Manga-style publications, which should use {{Infobox Asian comic series}}; collected editions of European strips such as Tintin which use {{Infobox graphic novel}}.

For characters, character types and other elements
edit- {{Infobox comics character}} - The main template for comics characters.
- {{Infobox comics in other media}} - This infobox is designed for articles detailing the use and adaptation of comics characters outside of their parent medium, such as Barbara Gordon in other media. It should not be used with articles dealing with variations of a character with in comics, for those please use {{Infobox comics set index}}. It should also not be used for comics "sets" or "series" that span multiple publications, for those please use {{Infobox comics meta series}}.
- {{Infobox comics species}} - This template is designed for fictional species that appear in comics stories. This includes Earth-based species, such as Cat People (comics); extraterrestrial species, such as Kleggs; and deities, such as Olympian Gods (DC Comics).
- {{Infobox comics elements}} - This infobox is designed for story elements or props. This includes things like weapons, equipments, and vehicles, things like Batmobile or Cerebro. It does not include buildings, which should use {{Infobox fictional location}} or individuals which should use {{Infobox comics character}}.
- {{Infobox comics organization}} - This template is designed to be used in articles about organizations that appear in comic books. These may be companies, military units, governments, teams, or the like.
- {{Infobox fictional location}} - This template is designed to be used in articles about locations that appear in comic books.
- {{Infobox comics set and title}} - This infobox is intended for use with "hub" or "set index" articles. These are articles that give an overview of the characters that have used a particular alias or codename, but where each of those characters have their own articles which use {{Infobox comics character}}. The articles will also cover or reference a comics series named for one or more of those characters. Examples of this are Robin (comics) and Flash (comics). Articles which cover multiple characters and only some of those characters have their own articles should use {{Infobox comics character}}, leaving out all information save the alter ego for the character(s) with a stand alone article. Examples of these are Doctor Fate and Atom (comics). For cases where the character set and the title have separate articles, use {{Infobox comics set index}} and {{Infobox comic book title}} respectively. Articles for character sets without a related comics series should use {{Infobox comics set index}}.
- {{Infobox comics set index}} - This infobox is intended for use with "hub" or "set index" articles. These are articles that give an overview of the characters that have used a particular alias or codename, but where each of those characters have their own articles which use {{Infobox comics character}}. Examples of this are Ant-Man and Kid Flash. Articles which cover multiple characters and only some of those characters have their own articles should use {{Infobox comics character}}, leaving out all information save the alter ego for the character(s) with a stand alone article. Examples of these are Doctor Fate and Atom (comics). If the infobox is going to be used on a hub article that covers characters and self titled comics, such as Robin (comics) or Flash (comics), should use {{Infobox comics set and title}}.
Combination infoboxes
edit- {{Infobox comics species and title}} - This template is designed to be used in articles about fictional species that appear in comics, and more specifically in a self titled comic. Examples of this are Inhumans and New Gods. For cases where the species and the title have separate articles, use {{Infobox comics species}} and {{Infobox comic book title}} respectively. Articles for species without a related comics series should use {{Infobox comics species}}.
- {{Infobox comics team and title}} - This template is designed to be used in aticles about organizations that apper in comics, and more specifically in a self titled comic. These may be companies, military units, governments, teams, or the like. Examples of this are Damage Control (comics) and Secret Six (comics). For cases where the organization and the title have separate articles, use {{Infobox comics organization}} and {{Infobox comic book title}} respectively. Articles for organizations without a related comics series should use {{Infobox comics organization}}.
