editThe 2019 redefinition of SI base units is scheduled to happen on 20 May 2019. Can we get it into shape to be featured on the front page by then? Any help would be appreciated. --Guy Macon (talk) 19:45, 21 April 2019 (UTC)
- What do you need? If you could list here the statements that need citations it would help us look for the required sources. 70.67.193.176 (talk) 15:38, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- Basically, it needs everything listed at Wikipedia:Featured article criteria (some of which it already has) followed by a nomination at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates, then a nomination at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests. Any kind of help would be appreciated. If you have a physics background, check to make sure all of the physics claims are legit. If you are good at referencing, check the citations to see if they actually say what the article claims they say, see if the URL can be replaced with a better URL to the same content, and make the citation style consistent. If you are a good writer, check for typos and places where the wording can be improved. Are there better images that can be used? Does it need more or fewer wikilinks? Does the lead have too much or too little detail? Can we section it better? Would a reword of some section headings be an improvement? Also see User:Dweller/Dweller, on Featured Article Candidates, User:Jengod/Some common objections to featured status and how to avoid them, and User:Yannismarou/Ten rules to make an article FA. --Guy Macon (talk) 17:54, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
