- No. The Wikimedia Foundation runs the servers as well as the trademarks and domain names. The Wikimedia Foundation is a non profit set up under the laws of Florida and the US and so no one 'owns' it. Our contributions generally retain the copyright over their work, however we all (and this includes you) agree to licence our contributions under a suitable free licence by contributing here. For textual contributions such as this, these are the CC BY-SA 3.0 Licence and GFDL. This means anyone may choose to make their own copy of any of the content of Wikipedia by obeying the licence terms, although they'd have to be careful about what they call it.
