Glycemic index of dates: 40 or 100?

According to several GI tables, dates go as high as 100.

According to others, they go as low as 38.

Glycemic index

The glycemic index of dates seems to vary from ~30 to over 100 depending on variety, preparation, and reference standard [1][2]. The 100 figure comes from Australian dried dates, which is a far higher GI than the other varieties. Someguy1221 (talk) 06:20, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
