Question about the Yukon; is it divided into any districts or Electoral district?

edit

--I'm curious about it subdivisions. I live in Metro Vancouver BC and I'm naturally curious. Thank you Venustar84 (talk) 05:23, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected the spelling in the title.
Yukon does not have subdivisions like counties, and at the federal level the whole territory is one electoral district. However, there is also a Yukon Legislative Assembly whose members currently represent 19 territorial electoral districts: these are shown on this map.
Well, nine of them are shown there. —Tamfang (talk) 19:59, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, sorry. That map actually shows 8 electoral districts and an area labeled Whitehorse in the same style. But if you click on the link at the top of the page, it takes you to this auxiliary map showing the 11 electoral districts located within Whitehorse and its immediate area. --70.49.171.225 (talk) 03:56, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
For mining purposes, Yukon is divided onto 4 mining districts. Their boundaries are shown here, and also here, by the four background colours. --70.49.171.225 (talk) 05:44, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How hard it is to have a radio callsign and a radio license in the United States?

edit

An simple question for HAMs in the United States, right?:) In my country,it is hard to have one.And you cannot have one if your age as under 18.I am 13 now and I am kind of interested in it,want to do some research on it,but unfortunately I can't do it legally. So,could anybody tell me about these thing in the US?

See Amateur radio licensing in the United States. There's no age limit, and there's no longer a requirement for a Morse code test - the candidate just needs to pass a written examination. Tevildo (talk) 10:16, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

writing a page about a book

edit

I want to add a page about a book.

DO I set up a page and just write about it or is there a classification or category I should be using or defining? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moonstar36 (talkcontribs) 14:47, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean start an article on this site? You'll need to cite multiple reliable secondary or tertiary sources (preferably academic or journalistic) that are unaffiliated with the book, author, or publisher and provide significant coverage of the topic. Otherwise the page will get deleted pretty quickly. Once you have those references and a rough draft that summarizes (but does not plagiarize) them, it's a matter of going to where the article page will be (searching for it should work if we do not have an article or redirect on the subject), or asking the folks at Wikipedia:Articles for creation for help. Actually, that might be a better place to go than here. Ian.thomson (talk) 15:01, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
