90's edutainment game involving screenwriting

edit

I'm currently trying to remember an educational video game from the middle or late 1990's. It was for sure a computer game, but I don't remember if it was specifically for Macintosh or Windows. I do remember that the premise was to teach kids about context and certain parts of speech and grammar, such as how some different-yet-similar words often have different senses of interpretation or connotation (for example: "Maybe, for a price" versus "Perhaps, for a price"), and this was done via the player being a director or screenwriter for a film production. The art style of the characters and interacted objects were drawn with sprites (I don't know about the backgrounds), and the colour depth was on the low-end scale, in 256- or 16-bit colours. I don't remember who the developer was, but I doubt it was something from Edmark, Humongous, The Learning Company/Softkey, or Sierra, even though those are some of the biggest developers and publishers of edutainment video games of that decade.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. --72.234.12.37 (talk) 03:05, 24 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
