What TV movie about a virus did I see?

It would be easy if I hadn't reviewed nearly 1000 movies for imdb. I know they took a long time to approve my review, which may have been because they suspected I had posted spoilers, and maybe I should have gone ahead and said it included spoilers. I felt it was necessary to talk about the movie's significance. It was similar to what we're going through now with 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic except most people who got the flu were seriously ill and many died and eventually it became impossible for normal business to take place, such as just getting people food and other basics. It may be that's what has happened in Italy, but this was the United States. The first one that springs to mind is The Last Man on Earth (1964 film) though I'm sure it is too old to be the one you are thinking of. The other adaptations of I Am Legend (novel) - The Omega Man and I Am Legend (film) - don't really fit your description. The World, the Flesh and the Devil (1959 film) doesn't involve a flu. The Quiet Earth (film) also misses the mark but I mention it because it is a favorite and I hope others get a chance to see it. I hope other editors are able to track it down for you. I don't know how to find a simple list. When I go to the list, the first part of each review is there. Can you imagine scrolling through 924 of those? Eventually the computer would freeze. They do things like Facebook. No multiple pages. Just keep loading more on the same page.

More hints. The name of the specific type of flu is there in my review. And while I didn't look for this title, "contagion" is a possibility. "Virus" and "Outbreak" weren't it.
