Grey's Anatomy Hospital Manager

In the TV show "Grey's Anatomy", is there a manager in charge of the hospital? Is there a manager in charge of any private practices? Is there any form of practice manager at all? I watched one and only one episode. It appeared that the doctors have no management and the nurses always sit at desks doing paperwork. List of Grey's Anatomy characters might help as well. There have been various chiefs of surgery and chiefs of other departments, and apparently they are also financial managers and HR managers at the same time (I remember at least once it was implied that the chief of surgery is responsible for the entire hospital budget). There was once a Board of Directors run by a guy named Larry Jennings (played by Mitch Pileggi), who was in charge of appointing the chief of surgery. at least. The hospital was eventually bought by the main characters on the show - they won a ton of money in a legal settlement after a plane crash and then bought the whole hospital, so the surgeons on the show are now the Board of Directors. It's also owned/managed by the Harper Avery Foundation, which in-universe is a big medical conglomerate, directed by (coincidentally) one of the surgeons on the show.
