How to edit tile distribution in Quackle (Scrabble program)?

edit

I play Scrabble using the dictionary on their website [1]. I'm so clueless I don't even know the name of that dictionary, only that it's not SOWPODS. Anyway, I'm trying to improve my gameplay with the help of Quackle [2], but for some reason using the "english" Alphabet in that program gives me a gameboard with more tiles than what I have. This means that the evaluations are always slightly off, sometimes very wrong. How can I choose the standard U.S. version of tile distribution? Thank you. There is only one set of tiles for English Scrabble - regardless of which version of the language you may be using. If you do not have the 100 tiles as set out in Scrabble letter distributions then you do not have the right tiles for playing in English, and no alternative dictionary or site will help you. As the website you are using is American, it is probably based on the Merriam-Webster dictionary. There is no printed version of SOWPODS, but the current Collins Scrabble Dictionary contains the identical list. I am not familiar with Quackle, and the link you provide doesn't seem to have anything to do with Scrabble. Wymspen (talk) 14:44, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I must've modified the tile bag by mistake, and the error was carried over into all subsequent games. A clean install of the program seems to have fixed the problem. Imagine Reason (talk) 12:33, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
