Photos of famous people together

I like this photo of Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Eric Clapton backstage at Dylan's 1992 30th anniversary concert. What other similar photos are there of A-list celebrities who don't normally hang out with each other, taken in informal situations? --Viennese Waltz 11:39, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

You can find a LOT of people with Hugh Hefner. He has parties at his place all the time and invites many celebrities. For instance, here's Seth Green and Hef. You can probably find more by just doing a Google image search for "(name) and Hugh Hefner". Dismas|^(talk) 11:46, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

Here are Brent Spiner (though maybe he doesn't make your "A-list" cut) and Stephen Hawking. Though they worked together for an episode of Star Trek:TNG, so maybe that doesn't count as an "informal situation". Dismas|^(talk) 11:50, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

Considering the picture is titled "Elvis-Nixon" instead of "Nixon-Elvis", there is some logic to pointing out that the names are reversed from their positions in the picture. ←Baseball Bugs ^{What's up, Doc?} carrots→ 21:47, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

That is such a great photo. You can so see that Elvis wants to get the photo session over with to get on to his talk with the President while Nixon's just being the old pro! In working on Nixon, I never considered removing that image. It's too campy to enlarge, but's got to be there.--Wehwalt (talk) 16:55, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

Speaking of Nixon, I like "Louis Armstrong Demonstrating Horn Technique to Richard Nixon". (Who was "only" Vice President at the time, so perhaps not quite on the A-list yet, though Nixon was a comparably active VP and certainly made the office look more significant than "not worth a bucket of warm piss"). ---Sluzzelin talk 18:33, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

• Just as an aside, Dylan, Young and Clapton have probably appeared together many times on stage. One of the earliest examples I can think of is The Last Waltz, but I am pretty sure they've been together at several Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, and likely several other places over the years. There is this famous photo of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X, which is striking because the two men had drastically different views on the goals and practices of the civil-rights movement. It was a chance meeting that only lasted long enough for the picture to be taken.
