What is this anime?

edit

From my last question:

There is an anime that I have seen that has a part or episode where a spacecraft heads towards the Earth and transforms into a space shuttle upon entering its atmosphere. It then transforms into a boeing 747 to land in some airport. All while the charcters inside get changed and masqueraded in some wierd digital-like way by some evil guy. Ive seen this a long time ago and I didn't manage to see or find out what it was called. Do you know what anime is this?

To the guy who said "Sounds like Interstella 5555, specifically the "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" part or right after that...": The characters weren't blue, the characters changed inside the spaceship as it was heading to Earth, not in an underground facility, there was some dialogue, and there really was nothing about any sort of band in the anime that i am looking for. 64.75.158.195 (talk) 00:22, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What does prisoner zero have to do to the human residents to prevent their incineration?

edit

"Prisoner zero will <something> the human residents or the human residents will be incinerated". What is <something>?--Alphador (talk) 09:26, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you are in the UK, you can watch that episode here and find out, unless it's unclear in the programme? - Jarry1250 [Humorous? Discuss.] 09:29, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have my copy of the episode at hand but from a Google search, this page says that it is: "Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residents or the human residents will be incinerated." Dismas|(talk) 09:32, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh that's what it is. It sounded like "protect" when I was watching the episode, which of course doesn't make any sense given the context.--Alphador (talk) 09:42, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I heard "protect" too. One of a long list of complaints I have about it. ;) Vimescarrot (talk) 16:25, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"Residence", not "residents". The "human residence" is Earth. --Nricardo (talk) 00:12, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Rubbish, if you'll pardon the expression. Alphador refers to the incarceration (i.e. imprisonment) of something, which can hardly be the entire planet. He is talking about certain residents of the planet. -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 08:45, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but Prisoner Zero has escaped to earth (thus he is no longer imprisoned), and the jailers are saying that he has to leave, that he must "vacate the human residence". It's quite common for Doctor Who script writers to enjoy a bit of wordplay. --LarryMac | Talk 18:54, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, my bad. I read "incinerated" as "incarcerated". One more thing to add to that pin head onto which I'm transcribing my list of errors. :) -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 21:28, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Killer Suduko solution for Evening Standard, Thursday 13 May 2010.

edit

Does anyone have or know where to find that solution please? Their website only gives the solution for Friday, and a lot of Google searching found nothing. The Thursday paper said the solution was given on "page 47", but it wasnt, nor anywhere else in the paper either. Thanks 78.149.199.79 (talk) 09:33, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The newspaper should have printed "page 40" not "page 47", but the soluion is not given there anyway. 78.149.199.79 (talk) 10:26, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If you Google "sudoku solver" you'll come up with any number of websites that can solve a sudoku puzzle for you, if that's enough for you. Vimescarrot (talk) 16:23, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Killer Suduko is different from ordinary Suduko: no "starter" numbers are given. The solvers for ordinary Suduko would not work. 78.147.140.229 (talk) 13:13, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, what? There's no numbers in the grid? What's the point... there's an almost limitless number of ways to solve a grid with no numbers... There must be enough numbers so that there is only one possible solution, else what is the point of the puzzle? --Jayron32 14:54, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've found an article: Killer sudoku. 78.147.140.229 (talk) 15:20, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AH, thanks. There is additional information in the puzzle, its just not "numbers" per se. Thanks. Makes more sense now. --Jayron32 16:03, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
For standard sudokus, the number you had in mind at "almost limitless", Jayron, is 5,472,730,538 (the number of essentially different solutions, when symmetries such as rotation, reflection, permutation and relabelling are taken into account). -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 21:19, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mystery Movie

edit

A few months ago, I saw a humorous comedy on the BET. The main character was a black comedian, I believe. It was all about marijuana, and the sale and consumption thereof. A friend of the main character was arrested, and they decided to sell pot to pay for his bail. What is this movie called, and who's in it? 98.240.190.197 (talk) 12:33, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could it be Half Baked? Deor (talk) 13:07, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Video?

edit

I have the concert video shown on this site. I want to know how I can download it to my blackberry —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.53.153.187 (talk) 13:10, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What site is the video on? Could you provide a link? .tkqj (talk) 14:45, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Most videos on wikimedia are in Ogg Theora format. Blackberry does not support this format[1], so you would probably have to download to a PC, convert the video using software such as ffmpeg (what software you use may depend on whether you have Windows PC, Mac, Linux, etc) to one of the supported formats (see previous link), and then load that onto your Blackberry. But if you can give a link to the video, someone may be able to provide more information. --Vitalbassoon (talk) 20:33, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

iCarly

edit

Hi. I'm having a little issue that I thought was obvious enough but apparently not. If anyone familiar with iCarly could check out this discussion, it would be most appreciated. Tommy2010 13:52, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
