Directions
editAt The House
editGo up the ramp to the front door and just walk in and, if there's no one in view, just walk around the fireplace and out to the back porch.
Alternatively, if you're uncomfortable walking into a possibly empty house, and if you're not melissophobic, you may walk around the house on the left side and the porch will be obvious.
- In case you're so inclined, there will be materials for making a label for yourself (screen name, real name, neither, or both, whatever you want folks to call you by and know you as).
To the House
editFrom Within Gainseville
editFrom NW 13th Street
edit- Take U.S. 441, aka NW 13th Street, to NW 10th Avenue; there's a traffic light at that intersection and there's an Applebee's in the northeast corner. Turn west, that is, away from the Applebee's.
- 1708 is on the right after the second speed bump, at the landing on the hill. Note that the house right before it house has a ubiquitous turquoise wall in front of it. Before the driveway is a garden on the street and after the driveway is a hedge of pomegranates; the driveway is of concrete and is curved, with a wooden staircase and ramp at the end.
From Western Gainesville
edit- Take Newberry Road until the fork with 8th Ave., proceed on NW 8th Ave. for a few miles, until NW 8th Ave. narrows to 2 lanes, after which there are 2 traffic lights: At the second traffic light (NW 18th Terr.) turn left.
- Go 2 blocks to the 4-way stop (NW 10th Ave.): Turn right.
- After the second speed bump, 1708 is the second house on the left: Before the driveway is a hedge of pomegranates and after it there's a garden on the street; the driveway is of concrete and is curved, with a wooden staircase and ramp at the end; in case you miss it, note that the next house has a ubiquitous turquoise wall in front of it.
From UF Campus
editIf you're closer to 22nd St than to 17th St.
edit- From University Ave. head north (the only possibility) on 22nd St.
- After the traffic light at 8th Ave take the next right, 9th Ave.
- Take the 1st left, 21st Terr.
- Take the 1st right, 10th Ave., which turns into 21st St. and then into 11th Rd.
- Where 10th Ave forks off from 11th Rd., bear right (the wider road) onto 10th Ave.
- Pass the 4-way stop pick up with the last step in the directions from western Gainesville.
If you're closer to 17th St. than to 13th St.
edit- Head north on 17th St. and
- – either –
- Go to the end (8th Ave.), turn left.

If you're closer to 13th St. than to 17th St.
