- Reason
- I honestly think it's a great shot. The statue is of David of Sasun, an Armenian epic hero. It was made in 1959 by Yervand Kochar. This statue is widely admired by Armenians. It has been pictured the logo [1] of Armenfilm, Armenia's main studio, even during the Soviet period [2], which is kind of unusual, because the Soviet regime didn't quite encourage nationalism among the minorities. The building on the background is the Yerevan train station.

- Weak oppose - It's nice, but for the EV I'd prefer something that focuses on the statue itself. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:34, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose image is not used in stated article. It also poorly illustrates the subject, seeing as it is out of focus. --WingtipvorteX PTT ∅ 18:54, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
