- Reason
- Another great bird photograph by Mdf. I especially like the serenity of this one.
- Proposed caption
- The Iceland Gull, Larus glaucoides, is a large gull which breeds in the arctic regions of Canada and Greenland, but not Iceland, where it is only seen in the winter. It is migratory, wintering from in the North Atlantic as far south as the British Isles and northernmost states of the eastern USA. A few birds may winter on the Great Lakes. (Stolen from Iceland Gull.)

- Oppose - It is technically a good picture but not excellent like many others from the same author. What I like less is the tight framing on the bird (which is almost a trademark of Mdf, I'm afraid). Also, the contrast and crispness could be better and there is a slight noise in the background. Support i love birds Mario1987 16:06, 17 September 2007 (UTC)- Weak oppose There is nothing majorly wrong with the shot, but I'm afraid that the washed out tones (and lack of vibrancy) does it for me. -- Chris B • talk 14:42, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
