Original – A female multi-coloured Saint Andrew's cross spider in Don Det, Si Phan Don, Laos

Reason: Was seen on Commons FPC two weeks ago, where it was featured unanimously. Hope this doesn't scare off the voters.

Comment The background around the legs has a red cast, but the rest of the background is black, which is strange. It's easier to see if you turn your brightness up. Nosferattus (talk) 00:33, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Open the image in full screen (not full size) and crank up the screen brightness to maximum. It looks like a wide diffused halo around the legs (it's reddish or warm). Bammesk (talk) 02:16, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
