Angel Aquino (born 1973) is a Filipino actress and model. A recipient of various accolades, she is known for her versatility and adaptability in portraying protagonists and villains. She made her film debut with a minor role in the action drama Mumbaki (1996), and first appeared on television as a presenter of the lifestyle show F! (1999). She gained wider recognition for starring in Crying Ladies (2003) and Donsol (2006), which were the Philippine submissions for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards. Aquino established herself as a leading actress playing villainous parts in the drama series Magkaribal (2010), Maria la del Barrio (2011), Apoy sa Dagat (2013), And I Love You So (2015), Till I Met You (2016), and Dirty Linen (2023). She is among the few performers to be nominated for two Gawad Urian Awards in the same year for the 2013 films Porno and Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita, winning Best Supporting Actress for the latter, as well as the Star Award, the Golden Screen Award, and the Gawad Tanglaw.

This is an overview of the career and achievements of Filipino actress Angel Aquino. I started working on this project beginning in March this year and with all relevant articles now promoted to featured status, I believe this now meets WP:FT criteria. - Support: Components are in line with similar featured topics. I do have a question over the title though - I know we have Wikipedia:Featured topics/Overview of Angel Locsin, but we don't have "Overview of" in Wikipedia:Featured topics/Amy Adams, Wikipedia:Featured topics/Anne Hathaway or Wikipedia:Featured topics/Bradley Cooper, for example. - Thanks for the support BennyOnTheLoose. Fair point. Not sure if there's a consensus re use (or non-use) of "Overview" for naming actor/musicians FTs, but I've always referred to precedents from Overview of Leonardo DiCaprio, Overview of Kate Perry, Overview of Lady Gaga, Overview of Lorde, Overview of Margaret, and Overview of Meghan Trainor. I think I've seen more of these FTs use "Overview of". Also I think because it's a topic or a collection of articles about an individual and their work, it would make sense to have that precede the name of the subject. Thoughts? American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor signed with Epic Records in 2014 and has since released several studio albums and EPs with the label, including the Billboard 200 top 20 records Title, Thank You, Title (EP), and Takin' It Back. She has also released The Love Train, Treat Myself, and the Christmas album A Very Trainor Christmas.
