Nomination for rescue consideration withdrawn |

A courtesy post here per a message received on my talk page requesting assistance to rescue the article. The article was proposed for speedy deletion, which was declined, and later redirected to Methylenedioxypyrovalerone, which was reverted (all by other users than myself). The article is tagged for having potential neutral point-of-view issues. Editors in the articles AfD discussion have stated that the article could use significant copy-editing and rewriting. Perhaps members and interested persons who visit this WikiProject can help out. Northamerica1000(talk) 13:59, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

An unsourced article up for deletion that would benefit from article improvement, including the addition of inline citations for verification using reliable sources. The series of Demonic Toys films are notable (Demonic Toys, Dollman vs. Demonic Toys, Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys, Demonic Toys 2), and this is a very reasonable content fork of these four articles. Update
The AfD discussions for the following articles closed as merge to List of toys in the Demonic Toys films
The AfD discussion for Grizzly Teddy (Demonic Toys) closed as redirect to List of toys in the Demonic Toys films#Grizzly Teddy List of toys in the Demonic Toys films remains nominated for deletion as of the time of this post. Northamerica1000(talk) 10:49, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

An article up for deletion about an historic festival at Iowa State University, founded in 1922. Needs copy-editing, the addition of inline citations and general clean-up. The article's current inline citations appear to be mostly primary sources. I've added additional third-party reliable sources to the article, but many of them are paywalled, and I don't want to pay to access them... Northamerica1000(talk) 08:18, 23 June 2012 (UTC) |
Kent W. Colton was retained and has been expanded |

An article that started off completely blank, from a request at the administrator's noticeboard to create it because the article's title was blacklisted for whatever reasons. I've expanded it to a stub, and the individual appears to meet WP:BASIC. The article needs expansion and more sources to qualify topic notability. Northamerica1000(talk) 22:31, 27 June 2012 (UTC) |
Graffiti Markup Language was retained |

A stub article that could use expansion and more sources to qualify topic notability. The topic appears to meet WP:GNG. I've added a couple of new sources to the article. Northamerica1000(talk) 13:07, 25 June 2012 (UTC) |

Based on how many people believe in such things, not just throughout history but even now, I'm surprised some are so determined to delete this article. Some help working through this large article to address any concerns some might have, would be appreciated. Dream Focus 13:41, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Avalon (MUD) has been improved |

This new, unreviewed article is by a new user, and that is why I am listing it here. I do not know enough about the subject, or MUDs in general, to know whether this multi-user computer game is notable or not. I have left it unreviewed to see if it would attract attention, and it did. --DThomsen8 (talk) 17:34, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

I am quite surprised a service of the European Commission, having an official status of "Project of Common Interest" and attracting over 1,000,000 visits per year, can be AFDed. Help to access these Springer references would be welcome, as I have had access only to the 1st one.— Racconish Tk 20:05, 15 June 2012 (UTC) |

Started as a videogame character but has now appeared in two movies, being played by Christian Slater, no less. It seems a promising topic but I don't know much about it. Warden (talk) 18:40, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

This voice actor has a lot of things they have done [8]. Anyone recognize anything, and know if the characters are major characters with significant parts in the shows and films, please point those out. Dream Focus 05:00, 12 June 2012 (UTC) |

Needs more sources to qualify topic notability, and the article could use improvement. The topic is actually meeting WP:GNG (in my opinion) per: – Significant coverage: Microsoft sees red over blue screen of death Also, here's some links with mentions: [9], [10], [11], [12], which can be used to expand the article and verify information. Article got significant news coverage but article is challenged for its notability and one event news coverage for 2nd time probably nominators quickly want to delete it anyhow article is young and some edits and reliable sources addition will save it. Dr meetsingh Talk 19:36, 13 June 2012 (UTC) |

Yet again the WP:DICDEF policy is misunderstood by editors who don't seem to have read it. This policy does not say that we should delete short articles which have yet to rise above the level of a definition. It says quite the opposite: that we should treat them as stubs or merge them into better articles which use a different word or phrase to describe the same topic. The real problem in this case is that this is an abstract concept and Wikipedia has a lot of trouble with these because such topics are broad and philosophical. The elite college of All Souls used to challenge its candidates to write an essay upon a single word topic like this such as corruption or error. This was said to be the hardest exam in the country and so work of this kind is the ultimate challenge. Warden (talk) 08:28, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
