Comment: There are a few sources but they all seem to relate to one event, namely his criticism of Ali Khamenei as a student [1]. I'm not sure if that is important enough to mention on Ali Khamenei or 2009 Iranian presidential election protests or a similar article but if it is then a merge could be an alternative. Comment I'm not finding much about him. I note that Australian reports of the 1925 All Blacks matches often refer to him as "A. Mattson" - perhaps he used his middle name? The National Library of New Zealand has info that was a Bank officer with the National Bank of New Zealand, Auckland, and on the Executive Council of NZ Bank Officers' Guild in 1939. [2] (not that that would contribute to notability, but would round out a bio). In Papers Past, the NZ digitised newspapers, there are an article about an Alfred Mattson who was a champion dirt track rider selected for the Tourist Trophy Races on the Isle of Man in 1933 [3], and in 1935 a mention that Alfred Mattson held the NZ record for 500cc machines [4]. If that is the same person, perhaps some motor bike racing wins or records would add to his notability - someone may know or find more about that. Comment Thanks to Paora for the clarification about the motorcycle / speedway rider. I would say Redirect to the 1925 New Zealand rugby union tour of New South Wales, but none of the articles about All Blacks tours seem to have lists of the team members. Surely that would be useful information, and a way to avoid having articles about those who were not notable but still enable readers of WP to find information? There are plenty of sources which name the members of the teams. (I am not offering to add such lists. I note with interest that WP articles on All Blacks tours are very poorly referenced, and many have no in-line citations, nor do they have any tagging. Comment I am not finding much coverage online. I wonder if there might have been coverage in heavy metal magazines in the 2000s, but that would need someone with access to that to check. All I can find are some sources that confirm they had distribution in Europe, Japan and North America (in a distribution list at the end of this article [5]; this article is specifically about distribution in Japan [6]). That latter article also has a bit more info - that the label had its own metal broadband TV show called Detonator TV - but whether it is either independent or reliable as a source, I am not sure. This website has an announcement of co-founder Eric Cook's death [7]. Following an edit summary in the article's history, I searched thegazette.co.uk and found that it appointed liquidators in September 2006 [8], [9], and the final meeting of creditors was held in 2011 [10]. The crush resulted in reactions by the prime minister and the Minister of Railways announced an investigation. The crush is to a certain extent notable as it also received worldwide news coverage. For what it's worth, I can source the claim to being Keith, but the character we have another article for. As for the actor, the article is twice the size as it should really be, as it says the same things twice, first in prose and then in a table. I'm hard-pressed to source anything at all other than the Keith part, outwith IMDB, e.g. from books on film history. As far as I can tell, this all, including apparently the IMDB entry, leads back to a FindAGrave entry written in 2008, three months before this article was. As far as this book is concerned, I would think it possible that the original text by Achyutananda Dasa could be notable, or at least worth including information about it in the article about him (though I note that article says that he "wrote numerous books, many of which could be loosely translated as the Book of Prophecies"). Trying to assess the refs in this article: (1) is a video, so inaccessible to anyone who does not know Hindi; (2) is unreliable (at the end is "Disclaimer. The above information is based on various sources. Webdunia does not officially confirm it." It does not mention the 2023 book, just the text by Achyutananda Dasa. (3) does not mention the 2023 book either. (4) does say it's a review of Bhavishya Malika Puran translated into Hindi language by Pandit Shri Kashinath Mishra in 2023, but just repeats the same summary of the predictions as other refs do. (5) does not mention the 2023 book either. (10) in English is by someone who says "I am enthusiastic blogger & SEO expert." In my opinion, it is surely a religious pseudo-scientific book written by Achyutananda Dasa and it is wrongly translated by Mr. Kashinath Mishra. These articles are vastly outdated, entirely lacking sources, and seem to now only serve as an advertising platform for these mutual funds. Strong keep. Per Tilastopaja the subject was nominated for the Canadian 2016 Olympic team and competed at the 2015 World University Games advancing to the semi-finals and finals, so the statement that she "had no career on the international level" simply isn't correct. Subject was also the 2016 Bajan national champion over 100m so she fulfills WP:TRACK prong 1 and prong 4, it's incorrect to say that she doesn't satisfy NTRACK.

Now getting to the actual coverage, above article from the Springfield News-Leader can't be dismissed outright because it's a "local paper" -- that still qualifies as "independent" per the WP:GNG definition, "Independent of the subject" excludes works produced by the article's subject or someone affiliated with it. For example, advertising, press releases, autobiographies, and the subject's website are not considered independent.

I've found several other high quality GNG-contributing sources, for example:
