Quarter final
editIn one of the quarter finals, Abha Na Scáil defeated Lios Póil by 1-12 to 0-08.[citation needed]
Semi-final
editIn the semi-final between Caisléan Ghriaire and An Ghaeltacht, the score was 0-09 to 0-11.[citation needed]
The game took place in "tough weather conditions" in Castlegregory. After 20 minutes, scores stood at 2 points to Castle, 3 points to An Ghaeltacht. By half time, it was Castle 0-3 to An Ghaeltacht's 0-6. In the first ten minutes of the second half, Castle kicked two points and continued to push on in the second half. In the end, Castle were narrowly edged out by 2 points, Castle 0-9 to An Ghaeltacht's 0-11.
In the other semi-final, Daingean Ui Chuis defeated Abha Na Scáil by 2-16 to 1-08.

An Ghaeltacht were finding it hard to make any headway against the wind but they won two frees in the 25th and 26th minutes and Dara Ó Se converted both.[citation needed] Dingle added two more points from Tom O’Sullivan and Barry D O’Sullivan to lead 0-8 to 0-2 at half-time.[citation needed] While the rain stopped for the second half, the wind did not abate.[citation needed] The final score was An Ghaeltacht 0-6 to Daingean Ui Chuis 0-09.[1]

Quarter-finals
editIn one of the quarter-finals, Lios Póil lost to Caisléan Ghriaire by 0-10 to 2-16.[citation needed]
Semi-finals
editIn the first semi-final, Abha Na Scáil lost to Daingean Uí Chúis on a scoreline of 0-05 to 1-15. The game was played in Paddy Kennedy Memorial Park and the home side, Dingle, scored a goal inside the opening five minutes. At half-time, Dingle led 1–10 to 0–3 with the rate of scoring slowing down for both sides in the second half, albeit that Dingle managed to extend their advantage by a further two points at the finish to win by 13 points.[2]
In the second semi-final, An Ghaeltacht defeated Caisléan Ghriaire by 2-04 to 1-06. This semi-final was a more competitive affair,[original research?] with An Gaeltacht "squeaking out" a single point win away from home. A first half goal for Castlegregory's Maurice O’Connell meant that Castle carried a lead at the break 1–5 to 0–2. Second half goals from Shane Ó Grifín and Pádraig Óigí Ó Sé helped turn the tide, however, and An Ghaeltacht advanced to the final.[citation needed]
Final
editDingle secured their fourth West Kerry Championship in a row when they defeated An Ghaeltacht at Páirc an Ághasaigh. Dingle started strongly, and led by 2–4 to 0–1 after 18 minutes. At half-time, Dingle led by nine points. In the second half, Dingle had the majority of possession and the final score was Daingean Uí Chúis 2-12 to An Ghaeltacht 0-05.[3]
