Speedy deletion nomination of Slovácká wine
editA tag has been placed on Slovácká wine, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Racklever (talk) 16:35, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
- Same with Znojemská wine - these two article were deleted under WP:CSD#A3 because they were empty. If you have sourced content to put in them, by all means create them again. If you want to create an article in your user space, so that you can avoid the risk of early deletion by making it complete before moving it to the main encyclopedia, see Help:Userspace draft for how to do that. editThank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Sean Byrne. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation do's and don'ts, you should:
- Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
- Use short sentence fragment descriptions, which should not end with punctuation
- Use only one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
- Do not add red links unless used in an article, and include a "blue link"
- Do not pipe links—keep the full title of the article visible
- Do not insert external links
Thank you. JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 19:42, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
Hi Zik2. I didn't want to draw attention to the fact that you are not following Wikipedia protocol on the Lviv Oblast talk page.
Please note how to handle such matters in future. As per the guide, "Do not delete cited information solely because the URL to the source does not work any longer." If you cannot find the link after attempting to search for it thoroughly, or don't have the time to look for an alternative source, please use the {{deadlink}} template per the relevant instructions. In that manner, the original link for verifiability won't be lost in the page's history as it is worked on and it will give other editors the opportunity to find the relevant page on the site or an alternative. Cheers! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 22:27, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
