Is there any reason why you have removed the figures for Taiwan and Fujian (ROC)? This article is titled "List of Chinese administrative divisions by population", and does not specifically refer to the PRC. Wikipedia does not take sides as to who has sovereignty over "China" (i.e. PRC or ROC), as per its WP:NPOV policy. -- 李博杰 | —Talk contribs email 11:26, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
I didn't remove Taiwan, it wasn't there to begin with. I did remove Fujian (ROC), as I found it insignificant and confusing. Nobody really considers it a separate province anyway. Zanhe (talk) 21:59, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
- Never mind, I just realised that a few days earlier a vandal IP removed Taiwan from the list. -- 李博杰 | —Talk contribs email 09:04, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Please do not start another edit war on this subject. Use official data without resorting to WP:OR. Challenge tags are there for a reason. The data must reflect what is in the source, not what is derived by applying a formula from another source, BsBsBs (talk) 07:42, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
Is it your habit to start edit wars and then accuse others of starting them? Zanhe (talk) 03:45, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Re: your recent wordless revert: Please read the discussion. There is a long rationale for this edit. If there is anything wrong with the edit, please say so. Be specific. Please be truthful this time. Consensus states that when reverting an edit you disagree with, it helps to state the actual disagreement. It would really help if you would give the cited policies a thorough read. Thank you. BsBsBs (talk) 20:32, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi. I am not sure what the term "Built up area" actually mean here, but apparently those numbers in the column "Built up area" are related to the those alleged remarks. Maybe we can discuss this issue on talk page before making any further editing. Wo.luren (talk) 19:31, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- Those remarks are vague, incorrect, and completely unsourced. Beijing's population includes parts of Hebei Province with a reference that's about Shanghai's topographic features? Simply ridiculous. Zanhe (talk) 04:38, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi Zanhe, I just wanted to let you know that I took a look at your recently created article Hechi Airport-- However, I noticed there are some holes that may need filling: the references in the article do not follow Wikipedia guidelines. There is a tutorial on formatting citations at Wikipedia:Referencing.It would be great if you could also upload a picture for the related article Hechi.
It's nice to see you editing!Jipinghe (talk) 18:53, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
Article assessments
Hi Zanhe, You are allowed to self-assess articles you have written as List, Stub or Start. Most of your airport articles have been assesed like this
header}} |class=stub|Airport-project=yes}} |class=stub|importance=low|transportation=yes}}
It would help if you can do the initial assessment yourself, Thanks, Pete
