Marketing
Please don't add a mundane timeline of when marketing materials of a film were released, like at Better Nate Than Never (film). Per WP:FILMMARKETING: "Do not merely identify and describe the content of customary marketing methods such as trailers, TV spots, radio ads, and posters. Instead, use reliable sources to provide useful commentary about a method, such as a trailer's intended effect or the audience's reported reaction to it." BOVINEBOY2008 18:55, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Better Nate Than Ever.jpeg
Thanks for uploading File:Better Nate Than Ever.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:DisneyToon Studios logo (2003-2011).jpg
Thank you for uploading File:DisneyToon Studios logo (2003-2011).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 21:26, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution (2nd request)
It appears that you copied or moved text from Steamboat Willie to Walt Disney Animation Studios. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 21:22, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you keep doing at List of Walt Disney Pictures films (and similar articles), relating to 20th Century Animation in regards to The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I have clearly communicated this already multiple times in previous reverts as to why your additions are being removed. On Wikipedia, we are based on what reliable sources say. You can not add content like that based on what you think is true. Adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, is a violation of Wikipedia's no original research policy. This has been addressed to you by myself and multiple other editors in the past. Judging from your edit history, you have been aware of these warnings. If you keep disruptive editing, you may be blocked from editing. ~ Jedi94 (Want to tell me something?) 06:24, 8 March 2022 (UTC)

Well, the logo is trademarked. ZX2006XZ (talk) 13:39, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
- You applied {{PD-textlogo}}. How is a picture of a boy fishing while sitting on a crescent moon even remotely close to text? -- Whpq (talk) 14:02, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
- "PD-textlogo" applies to logos that have only text and/or geometric shapes. In the case of DreamWorks Animation's 2018 logo, there is text, along with two shapes. Now you could point out the boy on the crescent moon (a shape, by the way), but other than that, "PD-textlogo" applies to this logo. ZX2006XZ (talk) 14:07, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
- The text you quoted specifically states "applies to logos that have only text and/or geometric shapes". It does not apply to selected part of a logo. It is for the entire logo. It's clear you have difficulty with understanding copyright. That's okay. Copyright can be very complicated. What is not okay is to be making licensing changes without any understanding of what you are doing and failing to learn from mistakes. You have been twice blocked on Commons for copyright issues and your unblock request there was denied because you claim you understand what you did wrong and yet in the very same unblock request admit that you actually don't know what license applied. If you have questions, you can ask at Media Copyright Questions. -- Whpq (talk) 17:28, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

Recent edits to film articles
ZX2006XZ, it appears you are touching a massive amount of articles in a short period of time, adding content like this. First, the lead section is meant to summarize the article's most important points. Stating that a film was the thirteenth film from a studio is not a significant detail, and in fact, it's not even mentioned anywhere in the article's body. So this action goes against the purpose of the lead, which is to summarize. Also see WP:LEADFOLLOWSBODY for more info.
Please slow down and take a moment to learn more about the lead and its purpose. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me on my talk page or go to WP:TEA, which is being monitored by other experienced editors willing to help. Thank you. --GoneIn60 (talk) 09:50, 31 March 2022 (UTC)

Proposal for New WikiProject
I have created a new proposal for a new WikiProject, being for Blue Sky Studios, seen here: http://en.m.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Proposals/Blue_Sky_Studios
Let me know what you think, thanks! SlySabre (talk) 16:43, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
- Looks great and all, but I'm kind of speechless. I mean, Disney has a WikiProject of its own, which makes own because it encompasses Disney movies, TV shows, parks, etc. ZX2006XZ (talk) 16:49, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
- That’s true. I do think that maybe we could merge it into a WikiProject for 20th Century Studios. It would be a sub-WikiProject of WikiProject Disney and WikiProject Film that would have editors who are more interested in the field of 20th rather than through the mainline Disney brand. Plus, we could have Blue Sky and Searchlight be sub-WikiProjects. Should I do that instead? SlySabre (talk) 17:05, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, I looked to see if there was a WikiProject for 20th Century Studios, and there isn't one, so I guess it makes sense. But we should propose a WikiProject for Fox first. ZX2006XZ (talk) 17:11, 1 April 2022 (UTC)

Scrat Tales is out!
Now we just gotta wait for reviews to come out. Btw, have you seen in yet? No spoilers please, but out of curiosity, does the Blue Sky intro appear? SlySabre (talk) 12:19, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
- I have no idea. Maybe it will. I don't expect it to, though, but maybe it will. I did find a review, btw: https://www.leisurebyte.com/ice-age-scrat-tales-review-disney/ ZX2006XZ (talk) 12:34, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah that and one YouTube video are the only ones I’ve found so far, but unfortunately, the sources aren’t that notable. SlySabre (talk) 12:50, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
- Dang, the reviews for Adventures of Buck Wild came out fast, but for Scrat Tales, they’re coming out sooooo slowly… SlySabre (talk) 13:04, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
- Btw, if you guys are improving Scrat, I added more sources at User:SlySabre/sandbox under Scrat section to be used for improving the article, since the company ended the character yesterday. Thanks. 2001:4455:699:AB00:BCC6:CFC7:E47E:AE4E (talk) 03:46, 14 April 2022 (UTC)

DYK for The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild
On 16 April 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that none of the original core Ice Age cast returned for The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
Image on Scrat Tales page
I’d assume that from Wikipedia’s Manuel of Style, it would be preferred to have the poster rather than the series’ logo. SlySabre (talk) 12:16, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
- @ZX2006XZ:, I appreciate your good faith edits, however references listing fan sites as well as the toy manufacturers direct website are generally not considered reliable. For instance, the references that are already on the page are considered reliable (for the most part), which include BBC, ComicBook.com, Collider, Screen Rant, Vulture, Metro, etc. These are the type of sources that should be included, since these are considered secondary ones. What this means is that the website used by the company that directly created media tie-in merchandise for the series should not be included because it is considered a primary source. On Wikipedia, it is generally more acceptable to add secondary sources instead, which are independent sites that have already established notability and reliability. Can I add you to a list of WikiFriends on my profile? That is if you consider me one of course, if not I totally understand. Thanks for reading this. SlySabre (talk) 15:54, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- @SlySabre: Hey. Sorry I didn't answe earlier, but how exactly does this WikiFriends thing work? ZX2006XZ (talk) 19:43, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- @ZX2006XZ: It’s basically just a list of the users who I get along with most on Wikipedia and are on good terms/relations with. SlySabre (talk) 21:23, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- Would you be ok with this? SlySabre (talk) 13:02, 10 March 2022 (UTC)

Disney theatrical animated feature films
I'd like you to rethink undoing my changes to List of Disney theatrical animated feature films. First of all Miramax films are already spit, so there currently is more than one chat. Second, may of this films probably shouldn't even be on the list like Enchanted (film). Films that aren't really animated or don't have a significant amount of animations should be separated. This has been discussed in the talk section of that page but no action has been taken. Andcbii (talk) 15:45, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- To be clear, I did try putting the Miramax films with the rest of movies listed, but I kept getting flack about it. But in the case of the live-action/animated films, they do count (e.g., Enchanted and Mary Poppins Returns). ZX2006XZ (talk) 15:53, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- I agree that Miramax films shouldn’t be on the list of animated Disney movies but instead should be on the list of Walt Disney Studios films since Miramax was under the Walt Disney Studios at the time it was part of Disney. SlySabre (talk) 16:38, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- On the Talk page for the list everyone is opposed to these films being listed. Who is saying they have to be included? Andcbii (talk) 16:41, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Well, Miramax used to be owned by Disney, so the animated movies that Miramax distributed count as Disney movies. If removed, that's like removing the Touchstone Pictures animated movies from the list. ZX2006XZ (talk) 16:50, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

Can we have a formal discussion here
You seem to have a bad reputation around here when it comes to edit warring and using reliable sources, by what this talk page indicates. You can't just add unsourced information onto a wikipedia page based on a hunch you had. Read the sources carefully before writing their contents into a page. The Logo you keep adding to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2023 film) is not the actual film logo and was just used to encompass the whole franchise. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg were not announced as producers on those Paramount + spin-off films. And most certainely nowhere has it been stated that Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies are production companies on that 2023 film. Also going anomynous to make edits won't fool anyone. If you don't stop I WILL report you. Averyfunkydude23 (talk) 14:52, 02 May 2022 (UTC)

Help with a Template
I wanted to work on Draft:Template:Disney Television Animation, and wanted it to look something like this, but I can’t seem to format it any better: http://en.m.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Draft:Template:Disney_Television_Animation&oldid=1082944666
I decided it would probably be a good idea to separate the main shows from associated productions because some shows were produced by the studio but credited under a different label (ex: Jetix Animation Concepts; Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, Get Ed and Yin Yang Yo!) or some were uncredited (ex: Nightmare Ned and Clerks: The Animated Series). SlySabre (talk) 02:21, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
You know, you don't have to create a draft for a template, in the case of DTVA because of how many shows they have. ZX2006XZ (talk) 02:39, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
But, the template looks pretty good. ZX2006XZ (talk) 02:39, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

I have noticed that there is an edit war regarding a variant of the logo used on the page. For Wikipedia, it is preferred that users take the issue to the talk page instead of reverting each other’s edits back and forth. Thanks. SlySabre (talk) 16:09, 10 May 2022 (UTC)

What did I do specifically to be blocked? ZX2006XZ (talk) 15:12, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 16:47, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- You should probably read the February 2022 section of this page, which lists multiple warnings you received. DonIago (talk) 16:30, 13 February 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
Ok, I understand what I did wrong. I have no excuse for what I did at The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones on February 12, 2022, which was adding Screen Gems and Sony Pictures Releasing in the infobox without a source (by the way, I think I found a source for Screen Gems and Sony Pictures Releasing). If you unblock me, I will make sure that I find valuable sources for anything that I put in Wikipedia. ZX2006XZ (talk) 17:18, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Please read what's on your talk page, including the linked policies and guidelines. Unlike other websites, you're expected to actually read our rules. You seem to understand what the issue is, though, so I'm unblocking you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 05:25, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
You think you found a source? Where did you even find this information in the first place? OK, so what's your source? By the way, the key here is reliable sources, not valuable sources. If you get stuck while looking for sources, try checking WP:FILM/R. It has links to sources commonly cited in film articles, including several trade magazines. You can also search the archives of WP:RSN for discussions on individual sources to see what the community says about them. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 21:12, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
The source is the official trailer of The Mortal Instruments, posted by Sony Pictures Entertainment's YouTube channel. ZX2006XZ (talk) 21:35, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
Here is the link, by the way.

- Please read through the links that I and others have posted on your talk page. A reliable source is something like a trade magazine that says "Screen Gems is a production company on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones." For example: this review from The Hollywood Reporter. See how this source explicitly identifies the production companies? Quoting the source: "
Production companies: Screen Gems, Constantin Film International, Unique Features
". That is what you need to find and cite on Wikipedia. It doesn't matter if someone's logo flashes on the screen in a trailer on YouTube. That could mean anything – that they're a production company, a distributor, or maybe just contractually obligated to appear simply because they negotiated some deal. In this case, it seems that they are a production company. Other times, that guess will be wrong. We can't know for sure what deals these companies have with each other until a reliable source tells us. It's like looking at a photograph and saying, "This looks like it's a family photograph, so the oldest looking man is probably the father, the oldest looking woman is probably the mother, and everyone else is their children." Sometimes this will be correct. Other times, it will result in bizarrely wrong guesswork. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:16, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for the links. I really appreciate it. ZX2006XZ (talk) 02:21, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:BlazingSamuraiPromotionalPoster.png, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Hi, just to note that I've removed your request to move this page at WP:RM/TR, as that is not the correct venue for that request. The draft needs to go through the WP:AFC process, and as mentioned on the page it was previously submitted there and rejected. You'll need to follow the guidance mentioned at the top of the page Draft:The Sea Beast (2022 film), and also resolve any issues that caused it to fail last time. Thanks — Amakuru (talk) 08:54, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

Edit warring on TMNT film page
Your recent editing history at Untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Your images
Enough is enough; this is your final warning involving WP:COPYRIGHT-violating images, especially ones sourced to Logopedia, which gives us no indication where an image comes from, and restoring them to articles despite being told not to. You've been warned here and on Commons too many times, and this will stop. Take the time to source images properly. Nate • (chatter) 02:02, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Turner Feature Animation.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Turner Feature Animation.jpg.
Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
