I'm wandering around replacing PNG versions of US state flags with the corresponding SVG versions, and I noticed that in your "states visited" block, you've got Image:Flag of Georgia.svg (), which is the flag of Georgia (country). You might actually mean Image:Flag of Georgia (U.S. state).svg (), which is the flag of Georgia (U.S. state). — Wwagner 15:11, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I think that "your anus" is needed material in the "uranus" article. It also even links to there (and it wasn't me). Dermann69 00:52, 28 August 2006 (UTC) → August 27 2006Reply
Thank you for your support of my RfA, which has passed with a final tally of 76/1/1. With this overwhelming show of support and approval I am honored to serve Wikipedia in the task charged to me and as outlined in my nomination. I also can't believe it's been three months already since I saw your helpme, good to see you dove right into work here. Happy editing to you! Teke (talk) 17:32, 28 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the barnstar! It's good to know that 'less visible' work like stub-sorting does get noticed every once in a while. Have a great day and happy editing! ~ Amalas rawr =^_^= 16:54, 29 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
I'd like to thank you WillMak050389 for either supporting, opposing, commenting, nominating, reading, editing, promoting and/or anything else that you may have done for my successful request for adminship (I've broken the one thousand sysop barrier!); I'm thanking you for getting involved, and for this I am very grateful. I hope to be able to serve Wikipedia more effectively with my new tools and that we can continue to build our free encyclopedia, for knowledge is power, but only wisdom is liberty. Please do feel free to get in touch if you feel you can improve me in any way; I will be glad to listen to all comments. Again, thanks 8) —Xyrael / 12:12, 2 September 2006 (UTC)ReplyThanks for your support in my not-so-recent RfA, which was successful with a an overwhelmingly flattering and deeply humbling total of 138/2/2 (putting me #10 on the RfA WP:100). I guess infinite monkey theorem has been officially proven. Chimps really can get somewhere on Wikipedia.

Do you need assistance with anything right now? I feel like I want to help people reduce their stress and the best way to do that, I think, is to give assistance with anything that might be causing them pain or stress. Just say the word, and I will help as much as I can, despite the fact that I am also making this speech to all the people listed on my page as my friends. I might be busy, I might not be. But don't let that stop you from saying what you need help with. I will do what I can. Have a nice day!!--Chili14 21:42, 3 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hi, The list (List_of_three_letter_English_words) we created is/was up for deletion. Another editor suggested moving it to: http://wikitistics.com . There no one will be able to nominate it for deletion because it fits one simple rule: it's a statistic, list, or figure. What do you think? Brian 03:38, 5 September 2006 (UTC)btballReply

Howdy! Sorry for bugging you, especially with classes and all (I can empathize, being one who assigns things) but I was wondering - what is the best way for a non-admin to mark/punish/decapitate/etc a vandal. There have been a few cases lately of both IP vandals and folks with actual user names that I would like, erm, checked out, as it were. Thanks much, and hope you don't regret welcoming me to Wikipedia at this point :) DukeEGR93 04:01, 10 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm bugging you for this because, months ago, you left the welcome message on my talk page when I was a new user. I'm still a horribly inexperienced user, but less new now, and I've run across something I don't know how to do and I'm hoping you can help.
Generally, I kill time on wikipedia by clicking "Random" and fixing whatever I find there -- a lot or a little, depending on how much time I have and how much fixing it needs. I ran across Greg Camarillo yesterday, and I worked on it some. He's a football player, and a lot of the other football players have their pictures in their infobox template (or whatever the proper name is for that block of info off to the right).
I don't know how to import a picture into wikipedia, though, or how to request it, if there is such a request template. Would it just be better to leave it blank? What do you think? Thanks in advance! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Deltopia (talk • contribs) 14:19, 19 December 2006 (UTC).Reply
- I gave it a shot; luckily there's no lack of photos of football players on the intarweb. Unluckily, I didn't find one with a public domain license attached to it, so hopefully it won't get deleted. Thanks very much for the help! (And I'll remember to sign my entries from now on!) Deltopia 22:24, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your support of the Article Improvement Drive. This week Universe was selected to be improved to featured article status. Hope you can help. |
I had a look at MS Works Database functionality and it doesn't look like it has SQL querys (I assumed it would).
If you are able to copy the data to a spreadsheet program you could use the formula ="[[" & A2 & "]] by [[" & B2 & "]]"
in column C. This is assuming that A2 & B2 are the first row of data in the spreadsheet and you would copy the formula down to the last row. Then the formula result's would be the data you were after.
If you have more than 65536 rows of information (The most Excel/Calc can hold) it would be better to use a database program, like Base or Access, which is a bit more long-winded.
Let me know how you get on. --Phydaux 22:45, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
You removed a direct link to a Futurama fansite hosting the fonts because "the site does not pay royalties".
The irony of the thing being that said site is the one that CREATED those font files, while every other fansite has older versions of said fonts (which is what prompted my direct linking to them).
Sure, the site did not create the font itself, but since the font is not a direct sampling of the original font used by the show's creators, it falls under the same area of all the "Serif-like" and "Times-like" font clones around.
I'm not reverting your edit again because I reverted it once. But before you "bet" on something, take a look at the contents first. All four Futurama fonts in there were created by Darrel Jonson (of an older site, Futurama Outlet, that gave them to Futurama Madhouse) or Leandro Pardini, one of the site's webmasters. -- 201.251.7.8 22:14, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:SteveMillerBandGreatestHitsalbumcover.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. This is an automated message from BJBot 06:09, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for uploading Image:AllAroundBarnstar.PNG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you created this image yourself, please look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#For image creators, select one of those tags, and add it to the image. To do that, simply go to Image:AllAroundBarnstar.PNG, click "edit this page", and add the appropriate tag. Be sure to remove the current tag indicating a lack of licensing!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at User talk:Angr or at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —Angr 16:21, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I noticed that you just moved your own move request to the "incomplete" section. Sorry that I "changed the rules" in the midst of the game, but what you just did exactly wasn't the idea—the entire idea was that the proposers are encouraged to pay attention and complete the procedure (put request, put the {{move}} template on article's talk page, create the {{subst:WP:RMtalk}} for discussion), not that someone else does that for them (they might, but they're not obliged). So, please make your mind: are you withdrawing the request or are you going to complete it? Duja► 15:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
- Actually, what the heck, I already moved the article; it's uncontroversial enough. Sorry for exercizing too much WP:BURO. Duja► 15:59, 23 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Who would have thought that NHS would be editing their own article, except their IP address is issued from Utah and not Virginia, which leads me to be skeptical of their edits. They are however, in violation of WP:COI as I brought to their attention on the talk page. But why they keep turning that article into a disclaimer, is a little ridiculous. If they continue we might have to seek administrative intervention. What do you think? Take your time, senior year was a pain at that school of ours. Darthgriz98 15:06, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I wanted to ask your opinion about the continuing vandalism on The Sims page concerning child sims being sent to military school, since you reverted the change and noted it was repeated vandalism. The IP has been changing the information without ever discussing their edit in either the edit summary or on the talk page, though I've repeatedly asked them to. I had put a series of warnings on the users talk page and reported the user, but was told that was the incorrect route to go. Do we keep reverting the edit or is there more that can be done? Hello, WillMak050389. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Doop logo.png) was found at the following location: User talk:WillMak050389. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 01:05, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
