Speedy deletion of Section Title Here
editThank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. contribsSTYROFOAM☭1994TALK 22:17, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

editI almost missed your message to me because you placed it on my user page. If you post a message on a User talk page, then Wikipedia displays a "You've got new messages" banner near the top of whatever page you view.
I already added two categories. Go ahead and add whatever other categories you think appropriate. I was wrong about adding External links. You have enough internal links that I can't think of any ELs to add.
If you look at Template:Infobox person you'll see directions on adding that to the top of your article. Sbowers3 (talk) 00:17, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Do you mean Wikipedia:shortcuts such as WP:CUTS? It's just an abbreviation. Instead of Wikipedia:Verifiability type WP:V. You can use these shortcuts either in the search box to the left or in a link on a talk page. Sbowers3 (talk) 00:23, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Hey, Voiceperson!
editIt's me, Mopper, from the IRC help channel. Sorry it took me so long to respond. Anyway, I'd be glad to help; also, you were looking for User:Primehunter, who doesn't exist. Rather, go to User:PrimeHunter (note the difference in the capitalization of the H; titles on Wikipedia are caps sensitive). Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 06:23, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the thanks
editThanks for the unexpected thanks. I wander around in lots of places, chipping in here and there, not expecting really to be noticed, much less thanked. So thanks for the thanks - that was nice. Glad I could help. Sbowers3 (talk) 23:12, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

editHowdy. I am the editor that tagged the article. I answered some of your questions on the talk page. I hope it makes sense. If not feel free to ask me on the talk page or here on your page. GtstrickyTalk or C 18:37, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- You did it right enough :). I responded GtstrickyTalk or C 23:21, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Coincidentally I was reading Ryan Allen just a few minutes ago. It looks good to me - well referenced and quite neutral. Editors who have a conflict of interest have to work extra hard to ensure that the article is supported by references - not just by personal knowledge - and that it is written with a neutral point of view. I think you have satisfied both requirements (better than some totally independent editors of other articles). It would be best if the editor who added the COI tag were the one to remove it, but I hope he will agree. Sbowers3 (talk) 22:46, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
I am sincerely impressed with the new article. Nice job. And yes... the tags have been removed. Cheers GtstrickyTalk or C 00:51, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Congratulations on finding a reference to verify the low D range. As you now know, it's not just what you know, it's what you can verify through reliable sources. I made a tiny edit to position the refs after punctuation and without any intervening spaces per WP:REF and moved the EL section to the bottom per WP:LAY. Yep, there is a lot to learn. re:Removing tags
editI've been very inactive in recent months so it's dumb luck that I saw your message about Regina (opera). The short answer is that any editor can edit out just about anything. You can remove the tags and I think that nobody else would disagree. More specifically, I agree that it is appropriate to remove both banners on the article page. I'd leave the Start assessment until it has been independently reviewed. You could ask at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Opera how to get it assessed. Sbowers3 (talk) 00:21, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
