editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited White Rabbit (George Benson album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Verve (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Grant Green
editGreat additions! - people tend to ignore stuff like this. Did he also play a 335? Muso805 (talk) 09:53, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
Thanks very much Muso805. Is good to see someone appreciates that as well. I do also play jazz guitar (faaaaaar away from FRant Green) and do like to make these kind of notations to Wiki. Green was a major Gibson fan, he played a ES-330 in most of his albums till mid 60's. Not really a ES-335, even both guitars looks visually the same, the ES-330 is fully hollow (unlike the semi-solid ES-335) and of thinline depth, the ES-330 is more like any “classic” jazz guitar, which certainly influence the sound. You have to go into the 80's to find another great jazz swing-bop guitarist which main guitar was a Gibson ES-330, Emily Remler, I've written the article about her on the Spanish Wikipedia and the discography on the English Wikipedia. Great player! Grant Green's ES-330 was held as part of George Benson's collection for many years but he finally sold out. The other Gibson used to by play by Green was a Gibson L-7. Then he moves to an Epiphone Emperor and to a custom-built D'Aquisto, this last one probably one of the guitars he's been more proud to play as a musician. I'm trying to fix in his discography all these instruments.
Good to hear Urueu -- I have a Lefty cherry red 335 from 2004 -- but so interesting about the 330. I think it's important to add the guitar. I added a Martin m36 to Jorma Kaukonen entry, and it was removed - so I gave up. I guess they thought I was working for Martin! Keep up the great work. PS: I loved Emily Remler as well.Muso805 (talk) 16:07, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
Dear Muso805, keep on insisting with entries about the guitars, I agree is important for guitarists and people the appreaciate about instruments musicians play. I do have a Ibanez AG95QA-DBS and a Ovation 2758AX-NEB. Good to be in touch!Your Lefty Cherry red is very similar to the one Emily Remler play.
