Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Spin-off (media), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page JAG. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 2 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Invalid markup

edit

Recently, you made a number of reverts at The Bachelor (American TV series). Note that every one of these reversions was of an edit that was fixing a specific markup issue. Make sure you understand these before making similar edits.

  • Changing "non-contestant" back to "woman" => this change is ambiguous. "non-contestant" is more specific in that the person is not a contestant. Using "woman" does not specify whether it is or is not a contestant.
  • Adding invalid infobox parameters - the revert to return certain infobox parameters, such as "winner" and "loser" introduces parameters that do not exist in {{Infobox television}}. You can't just implement parameters you "think" should be there - they have to actually be valid parameters (which is why those were removed previously). Please review the template docs so you know what the valid parameters are and how they are used.
  • Citation bot fixed a citation on the page which you reverted. This bot fixes specific citation elements that the community has already determined through consensus to be preferred, such as considering Entertainment Weekly to be a magazine, not a web site.
  • Citation bot also fixed curly quotes, which you reverted (‘Bachelor’ vs 'Bachelor'). We do not use curly quotes. See MOS:CURLY.

If you do not understand these, feel free to ask questions, but these are all standard parts of our WP:MOS. ButlerBlog (talk) 11:32, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

please use edit summaries

edit

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! DoctorMatt (talk) 21:57, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Again, please fill in the summary field - May 2024

Hello Ugggsw. I noticed that you continue to edit without using any edit summary at all despite a prior request to do so in January 2024. Please always fill in the summary field. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences / Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thank you. Quaerens-veritatem (talk) 06:10, 24 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Regarding your second account creation

23:01, 16 August 2024 User account Hagerburr (talk|contribs) was created by Ugggsw (talk|contribs) and password was sent by email (if someone tries to hacked)

Wikipedia:Compromised accounts might be of interest to you, if you haven’t read it already. It’s got a bit on getting your account back, if it is hacked. MM (Give me info.) (Victories) 22:48, 16 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
