Hi. When you recently edited Clare Fischer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Durand (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

  • I noted that on the Don Wilbanks article, the info box and text don't match on the birth and death dates - maybe one is a copy and paste you used from another article? An obit would be helpful to show notability.--Milowenthasspoken 16:27, 15 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Lisa Bonder

edit

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I have reverted your recent edit to Saline High School (Michigan) regarding the person above. The reference attached stated she was raised in Saline, but did not mention anywhere where she was schooled. On her article, there is a reference that states she went to Huron High School, which if memory serves me is in Ann Arbor. This is the ref: http://www.wtatennis.com/players/player/435 . Neither this ref or the one you used is overwhelmingly reliable, but since there is a conflict, let's leave her off Saline until we find a better source, ok? Gtwfan52 (talk) 03:17, 23 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

I went to high school in Saline, and Lisa Bonder was a student there at the same time I was. Her family lived just north of town near Travis Pointe. She lived in Ann Arbor, prior to relocating to Saline around 1980.

As I am sure you know, you cannot use what you know as a source on Wikipedia. See WP:TRUTH. What is true is of much less importance than what you can prove is true. The above quoted source says she left Huron and finished high school in New Braunfels, Texas to be near her coach. That happens a lot with young gifted athletes, like the young lady from Sterling Heights, Michigan that was all the thing at the last Olympics. Gtwfan52 (talk) 05:58, 23 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
