- appologies first time here and been asking questions to ensure we are in compliance. I searched the website for canadian distilleries and the wiki website turns up and shows competitors but we wernt listed . Help me to understand how they got their business on the list ?
- also where is the edit button to change our account to be in compliance Tumbleweed Spirits (talk) 02:55, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- They didn't get themselves on the list. Volunteer editors noticed that the distilleries met our guidelines on notability (which I advise you to read so that you can understand why I'm saying this), decided on their own (not because the subjects asked them to) to write articles about them, and then to add them to lists.
- Wikipedia doesn't write about people or companies on request, but because they are notable enough to be included in an encyclopedia. It is not an indiscriminate collection of every person, company, and thing that exists.
