Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Merișor derailment, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Arad and Merişor. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Do not mark major edits as minor

edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. —J. M. (talk) 23:42, 10 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ditrău ethnic incident moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Ditrău ethnic incident, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. buidhe 01:34, 18 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I hope you are fine. I have removed a very large amount of unreferenced information. The new page review is one of the last approval stages, so when I see a page like this with a large amount of unreferenced information, and no {{In use}} tag to show that the page is undergoing a major build, I tend to err on the side of caution and remove the unreferenced information. The easiest solution is for you to add the tag to indicate the page is still under construction (if it is). This prevents me and other editors from editing the page until the process is complete and the tag is removed. Please assume good faith of me, as I do of you. By all means add the information again when you can add the references. Best wishes, BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 05:31, 16 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dude, just tell me you deleted all of the info that was there. Besides, the "unreferenced info" literally comes from other Wikipedia pages on the same topic (German, Czech, Hungarian, Slovak). Shouldnt they also remove their fair share of unreferenced info?
Also this page is work in progress, i have the bad tendency to leave them abandoned after a while, so im sorry for that, but all the info i put in that said article was done by translating info from other language Wikipedias. It was the same with another article (VL86F, a Russian locomotive). Im getting tired of this, i put hours of work into it only for it to be thrown away in the trash.   Hi TrainSimFan! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 09:50, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, yes, sorry, despite the fact that i've been on this site for long, i still am not familiar with the "minor edit" tag, so i apologise if i've used it improperly. I'd just like to know which one of the edits was the problem, thats all. Thanks! TrainSimFan (talk) 12:18, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
