Huggle2
editWhy don't you try Huggle2? WAYNESLAM 21:14, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
- Oddly I was just checking out the Huggle2 page and its talk - it's not exactly convincing. The whole project seems to be in a state of flux, without a serious development plan. I'll stick with the (relatively) stable and tested version for now. the wub "?!" 21:31, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
- Okay. It's been a while since I talked to you. WAYNESLAM 21:36, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
Supposed vandalism on 'Other Losses' page.
editHello.
I am writing this because I am curious as to how my suggestion constitutes vandalism and, if it does, how I can include the same content on the page without accidentally vandalising it.
Thank you in advance.
IP number.
- If you have problems with the article, please discuss it on the talk page. the wub "?!" 20:34, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
- I don't particularly have a problem with the page, just the fact that I cannot add content to it without having my work branded as vandalism. I'll happily include a section on the other views presented if that's needed.
Thank You
editThe wub, I wanted to personally thank you for your help with the social media team during this year's fundraiser. We couldn't have done it without you. -- Deniz (WMF) (talk) 21:26, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks Deniz, but my contribution was rather paltry in the end. I only wish I'd had time to do more. the wub "?!" 22:29, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
Blanking
editI was showing an example on how it was easy to edit on here and i blanked out the page and i accidently saved the changes. i was undoing then when you undid my change. Very sorry. Nhajivandi (talk) 21:46, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
- No problem, I did wonder because it looked like all your other edits were ok. I guess you've also demonstrated how quickly mistakes can get fixed then! the wub "?!" 21:49, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Vandalism?
editWhatever it is called, "Vandalism", I don't believe I committed. Apparently to do "Vandalism" you have to do something in a deliberate attempt to compromise Wikipedia. I don't see what I did was any sort of attempt, let alone deliberate. Let's face it, human civilization as we know it may cease to exist on 21 December 2012. The Earth won't be going anywhere, but our lifestyle as we know it very well might. The Mayans were visited by a warring alien race and were given a fair warning that they had 5,125 years to prepare (which is the length of the calendar). The aliens left Earth but will be back the end of next year. --ENDofdaWORLD2012 (talk) 20:38, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
- We even have an article on it, I suggest you read it. the wub "?!" 22:54, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
- No shit have an article on it. This isn't "Crystal Ball", this is real hard facts - the ancient Mayans knew. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ENDofdaWORLD2012 (talk • contribs)
- Er, no. They thought it was the end of a calendar cycle, but it's disputed as to what they believed would happen. Most scholars agree that they had no expectation of an apocalypse, and if anything it would just be a cause for celebration. But so what if they did "know" the world would end in 2012? They also "knew" that they could control the weather with rain-dances, and that human sacrifice was a good thing. the wub "?!" 11:20, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Protection of PlayStation
editThanks for protecting the page PlayStation, that was an insane amount of vandalism just now. I'm reporting all those IP's. --Ashershow1talk•contribs 23:10, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
Service award level
editThere has been a major revision of the the Service Awards: the edit requirements for the higher levels have been greatly reduced, to make them reasonably attainable.
Because of this, your Service Award level has been changed, and you are now eligible for a higher level. I have taken the liberty of updating your award on your user page.
Herostratus (talk) 03:41, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Actually you don't become an Illustrius Looshpah for a few more days (March 24), but I'm here now doing the updates, so I figured what the hey. Herostratus (talk) 03:41, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks Herostratus. (Almost) 6 years eh, how time flies! Glad they changed, the edit counts did seem extremely high for the later awards. the wub "?!" 20:06, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Manchester wikimeet - would you be interested?
editHey. I'm proposing a Manchester wikimeet on 24 April - would you be interested in coming along? Mike Peel (talk) 23:26, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds good, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. Will have to check and get back to you. the wub "?!" 00:30, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Wikinews standards on civility
editHey wub! I noticed you left Wikinews a while back because of some hostility you encountered there. I'd like you to know that I, along with a couple other Wikinewsies, are instituting some reforms on the site, many of which concern civility of discussion. A proposal has been started here under the header "On Contributing," addressing issues of hotheadedness and civility on WN. We'd love to hear any of your thoughts or suggestions about this recent step if you'd care to comment. Thanks. --Ashershow1talk•contribs 22:18, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for invitation Ashershow. Coincidentally I've been thinking a lot about Wikinews recently and mulling over whether I want to return, and so I've been watching current events there with interest. I'll have some thoughts to post tomorrow - I really ought to get some sleep now. the wub "?!" 23:40, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
