Waddell - Bourrie

I sued Christopher Waddell twice, once for the comment that is on the Wikipedia page about me, the other time for discrimination in horing at Carleton. He is not exactly a disinterested character. As for me working for Duffy while working as a journalist, I was, at the time, teaching at Concordia University in Montreal. Duffy had literally sat beside me when I was in the Press Gallery. My journalism was minimal after 2007. I was writing teaching and writing books -- one in 2012, another in 2013, then I started law school in September 2014 after completing the manuscript for Kill the Messengers, published in January, 2015. I kept my Press Gallery membership so I could use the Library of Parliament. "Be bold" does not mean being bold with the reputation of someone whose livelihood as a lawyer and author depends so much on reputation, nor does the interpretation on the Mark Bourrie talk page fit with BLP policy. I suspect you have a bunch of Canadian editors on that page who have their own axes to grind. Want to make Wikipedia really effective, get rid of the rot and have credibility? Make all "editors" post under their real names. Otherwise, you end up with score settling, hatchet jobs and recklessness from people who face no consequences or personal risk. Mark Bourrie
