Michael Voss

Okay, what you need to do is have her email permissions-en AT wikimedia.org giving a clear statement of licensing. It's important that she know that she's providing an irrevocable license to both modify the image and reuse it for any purpose, including commercial purpose, to anyone who wants to do so. Some conditions are compatible with our licensing. For instance, the GNU Free Document Licence, whose text can be found here, is a much more comprehensive license that includes conditions like it being mandatory that she be attributed by reusers, that they license any derivitive product under the terms of the same licence, that they not misrepresent her contribution to the work and whatnot. For your/her reference, the image was located here:http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Special:Upload&wpDestFile=MichaelVoss.jpg Sorry about all the hoops, but unlike much of the internet, Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously. Cheers, WilyD 11:37, 5 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • A single permission email which lists all the relevent photos would be sufficient. If you tell me when it's sent, I volunteer through the OTRS which handles such emails, and can help ferry you through.

Proposed deletion of Aaron Cornelius

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Aaron Cornelius, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

has yet to play AFL

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of Ryan Harwood

edit

The article Ryan Harwood has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Subject is not notable per WP:BIO

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Oo7565 (talk) 19:30, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Rookie list players

edit

Hi there, thanks for your contributions and photos, but PLEASE DO NOT create any more articles on rookie list players unless they have SIGNIFICANT coverage in INDEPENDENT reliable sources. Most people believe in the "must play professional sport" rule, so it's best to hold off until they make their debut. For the Freo players, I've redirected them to the list of players, you could complete the List of Brisbane Lions players#Currently listed players yet to make their debut section and redirect the articles to there. Thanks, The-Pope (talk) 14:52, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Callum Bartlett

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
