Proposed deletion of How did Mika Hakkinen win the 2001 British Grand Prix?

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article How did Mika Hakkinen win the 2001 British Grand Prix?, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

WP:OR

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi.. I deleted this because it wasn't content we could use. Anything relevant would belong better at 2001 British Grand Prix. Friday (talk) 15:24, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button 2009 Germany.jpg

edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button 2009 Germany.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:12, 14 July 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:12, 14 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Lewis Hamilton 2009 (Germany).jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NW (Talk) 14:42, 19 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Lewis Hamilton 2009 (Germany).jpg

edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Lewis Hamilton 2009 (Germany).jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NW (Talk) 14:42, 19 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello

edit

Hi. No worries about the practice session thing; I'd already forgotten about it. But the problem there and the problem you have with this article is that you need to establish a claim for notability. This means you have to prove that the subject deserves an article. In practice this means that you need to find reliable, third party (that is, someone or some group which was not involved with the production of the article) sources which comment on it, which you can use as references to support the claims made in the article. For TV episodes this is often the hardest thing to do - I've wanted to write articles on TV shows many times but have been unable to find sources to back it up. I'd trawl the net looking for sources which could help here, otherwise you may findthe article gets deleted. Good luck! Apterygial 10:58, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Horrid Henry's Wedding

edit

Hi there. Re your creation of Horrid Henry's Wedding, I merged an edited version of your summary into List of Horrid Henry Episodes (season 1) and converted it to a redirect. Individual TV episodes don't generally get an article unless they are particularly notable, like the first episode of a major series or one that was especially controversial or famous and got a lot of press coverage. Thanks and happy editing! Zachlipton (talk) 19:06, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Horrid Henry Missions of Mischief cover art.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Horrid Henry Missions of Mischief cover art.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:08, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Horrid Henry: Missions of Mischief

edit

A tag has been placed on Horrid Henry: Missions of Mischief, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.

If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your reasoning on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Orphaned non-free image File:Horrid Henry Missions of Mischief cover art.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Horrid Henry Missions of Mischief cover art.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.
