Anastasios Michalakopoulos
Komma Fileleftheron
editI agree, there should be a list of prominent party members, feel free to add the obvious ones, and I'll put some more in later. You might also want to add Venizelism in the "see also" articles. Finally, you also might be interested in Wikipedia:Greek Wikipedians' notice board.
I made a change along the lines of what you suggested, if you can see a way of improving it, feel free to do so. Cheers, Sysin
Thank you for adding the section, a minor update may be necessary either to include some more names or to make it 100% consistent (some politicians formed their own parties at times e.g. Andreas Michalakopoulos and Alexandros Papanastasiou , and in some cases served as Prime Ministers / Ministers multiple times). And perhaps Konstantinos Mitsotakis is no longer an MP (I think he chose not to run this time leaving his son Kyriakos to fill the gap). Unfortunately I have not much time at the moment, but I will try to help as much as possible as the mid-war period and the "Komma Fileleftheron" in particular interests me very much. Fortunately, there seem to be users from the Greek Wikipedia that share this interest, we should all try to put up as much information as possible about this - sometimes forgotten - period of Greek history. Thank you again for your suggestions and additions. Tasis
The idea of listing Konstantinos Mitsotakis as an MP is that it was the highest office he attained as a member of ΚΦ. He became prime minister with ΝΔ years later. As for those who served multiple times, I'm only listing the highest one, and the first year it was attained, so as to keep the list simple and readable. More details can go under the articles of the people mentioned.
What I'd really like to add here (and to all other Greek parties) is a listing of the national elections they participated in, and the support they achieved. Unfortunately it is very hard to find these numbers for elections prior to 1974. Sysin
My fault as I probably didn't your first post carefully enough, I understand now how the names are listed. Let me see if I can help with finding some official results from our Parliament or Ε.Λ.Ι.Α. By the way, is there any page listing all (major) political parties in Greece in a timeline fashion? Do you think that it would be useful (or even feasible?) Tasis
Feasible, but too much work to gather up all the details. The ideal would be to find a list of all past national elections with results; this would automatically give us a list of all parties that ever got over (say) 5% in a national election, and then start from there... Sysin
