Michael Houston
editHello Super8Guy : ) Welcome to WP! I put a WP:PROD tag on the article Michael Houston. This tag asks other editors to work on it ASAP. The article, as is, is probably not encyclopedic. I'll help you work on it and see if we can make it so. It seems to be more about the organizations. We need to re-name, I think? FloNight talk 22:21, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:4-Frames.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:4-Frames.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 14:19, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Don't remove deletion tags
editPlease do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Stifle 21:06, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- You have deleted the Articles for deletion tag twice on the article Pro Per Inc.. That is counter to policy and practice here on Wikipedia, in fact it is vandalism as stated above. You are wearing out your welcome here as an editor, buddy. If you are not going to respect the rules of this place you have no business editing here. Glowimperial 21:55, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
FYI: The page you need to comment on regarding this suggested deletion is Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pro Per Inc., not the article page itself. Deletion is done by a consensus model, if you can present good arguments to keep it might convince enough people to keep it, throwing insults around on the article page however is not a good way to stop a deletion. Cheers. --Sherool (talk) 22:10, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
John Longenecker edits
editI am going to ask you to stop making edits on the page John Longenecker. I you are the subject of the page it is both NPOV and a conflict of interest for you to edit the page or to contribute to it in any way other than on the talk page. While your input on the subject is valued, the simple fact that you are the subject of the page makes you an inappropriate editor. That being said, the page does appear to be well constructed, but in need of some serious fact checking and oversight by Wikipedia editors who are not the subject of the page, or associates of the subject. Please refrain from making further edits to the page - if you have contributions to make to the page, please make them known (with proper citations) and I or another Wikipedia editor who does not share your conflict of interest will integrate the data. Glowimperial 21:13, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Blanking Vandalism of User:Pat Payne
editBlanking another editors user page is a serious act of vandalism here on Wikipedia and could lead to your being blocked from making further edits. You have already engaged in a series of vanity edits to the page about yourself, a seriously inappropriate action. If you have any intentions of continuing to participate in Wikipedia, please refrain from future vandalism. Glowimperial 21:13, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Final warning
editThis is your last warning. The next time you remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Be warned you are already in violation of the three-revert rule. --Sherool (talk) 22:46, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Pro Per Inc.
editHello Super8Guy. If you think this article should be kept, go the the AfD page and make your argument there. The information there is what the closing administrator will be looking at. Thanks. --Fang Aili 說嗎? 00:10, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Pat Payne 04:57, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Hey Man
editI found your article on Pro Per Inc, I also see that it might get deleted. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to start an article and other users have found it not notable and it has been deleted. But that is just how Wikipedia is. Its a democracy, which means everyone gets an equal vote. Beleive it or not thats a really good thing because it allows really cotroversial articles like Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy, 2004 U.S. presidential election controversy and irregularities, Articles related to the creation-evolution controversy and even Doctor Who story title controversy to everyone to potentially have their opinions heard. One thing that is difficult to learn about this place is that the project can't grow and get better if we let our feelings get hurt every time we don't get our way. Its just the nature of the project. I hope you continue to contribute to Wikipedia and you realize that your opinion is just as important as everyone elses on here. --The_stuart 23:44, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
PS. I see that your Arts Council for Monterey County article is coming along nicely!
Image copyright problem with Image:RH-HouseA.jpg
editThank you for uploading Image:RH-HouseA.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Jusjih 17:51, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Kristin Nelson
editAn editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Kristin Nelson. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kristin Nelson. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Ruth Hussey. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. GcSwRhIc (talk) 23:58, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Ruth Hussey. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page.Also change of content except Vandalism is not a minor edit. Please do not mark it as such. Thank you.

File permission problem with File:RH-Bob.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:RH-Bob.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 22:10, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Arts Council for Monterey County has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
There is no reason to suppose that this organization is somehow inherently notable; there are no sources to suggest this one is notable.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Drmies (talk) 01:03, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
