Picture of the day The Dewey Arch was a triumphal arch in Madison Square, New York City. It was erected for a parade on September 30, 1899, in honor of Admiral George Dewey, to celebrate his victory at the Battle of Manila Bay in the Philippines the previous year. Constructed around two months before the parade, the arch was made of the plaster-based material staff, typically used in temporary buildings. After the parade, the arch began to deteriorate and it was demolished in 1900 after an attempt to raise money to rebuild it in stone was unsuccessful. Hello Sunborn

I made some edits to a page you had previously worked on. My comments about the recent round of edits to the List of Zeta Psi chapters is on the Talk page. If you have continuing interest and time, I'd welcome your review. You'd also be welcome to join the Fraternities and Sororities Project. If I read correctly your reasons for semi-retiring, I concur that edit wars and Deletionism has been a problem. For us, we police these articles within our area of interest, and have kept the Deletionists and other trolls at bay. We now monitor several thousand pages, and are actively improving them.
