DYK for Edgar Claxton
editOn 20 November 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Edgar Claxton, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Edgar Claxton helped set up electrification of the UK mainline railway in the 1960s, and was awarded an MBE? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Edgar Claxton. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Edgar Claxton), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Brig versus ship
editSee full-rigged ship. Most distinctively, a brig has two masts, and a ship has three. It looks like the citations include at least one British publication that makes this distinction, so I don't believe it's an ENGVAR issue. Nyttend (talk) 21:48, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
