Regarding The Undertaker
editExperimenting? I have been doing this for quite sometime, thank you! You know, I really don't care for the Mark Calaway article, but if you want to immerse the article in the excrement of your own idiocy, fine. The man was born in 1962, like it or not. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Thegoodson (talk • contribs) .
Okay, I apologize for being rude, but some of the edits are just so off on the article, not to mention the rest of wikipedia. People just don't trust the info. Mark Calaway was NOT born in 1960. He was born in 1962. I watched the WWE(back when it was WWF) for over 16 years. The Undertaker, along with Bret Hart, were my favorite wrestlers. I know exactly when the Undertaker was born and every source claims 1962. Why is everyone changing it? First they had 1965 and I corrected it. Then they came up with 1964, and again I corrected. Then now, 1960? It was 1962! Some sources for that:
Why is it that on wikipedia he has to have like 3 different birthdates? User:TheGoodSon
You know, I really don't care. The man was born in 1962...I was a huge fan of the Undertaker! So you don't know where 1960 and 1965 (yes, that was there too) came from, yet you are quick to downplay several other sources that all claim 1962. It says a lot more than just opinions of various users. Man I wish I had those magazines I used to, or I wish the WWE still had the birthdates of the wrestlers on the bios at their site. Too bad... User:TheGoodSon
- Hello Steve. I removed the billed height of the Undertaker because 6' 11.5" is nonsense. I can't imagine the difference between 4 inches of a human. Please convinve me or explain why the billed height has been added to Undertaker. Thanks. Greetings. MM 10:45, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

editIt's probably just a case of copying and pasting a bit too much, but there's no need to add the "See also" links to the top of the page linking to the AfD template and so on. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 23:36, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Another Move
editI noticed your comments on the Wrestling Wikiproject talk page about moving pages. Since you agree with me that moves should be done, come support the request to move Glen Jacobs to Kane (wrestler). You can do so here. Thanks. -- Mikedk9109 (talk) 01:13, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
You said: "I hope it's alright posting this; I wasn't sure whether it'd fit on any of the noticeboards. Could you do something about User:Mines45 please? He adds incorrect information to articles, and has removed the warnings from his talk page to stop. He then posted this on my talk page, which, according to my Googling [1], is quite offensive."

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but i recently saw that you added some tags to the Kerry King article. I was hoping you could tell me on how to improve it a bit, like what to add and improve on, also perhaps enter the [citation needed] tag where a source is required so the article can be rid of the tag, Thanks M3tal H3ad 13:12, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

- Well, my grandad used "sin shifter" to refer to the chaplain they used to go to in WW1, and he was Irish. As for moggy, no etymology lists it as Scouse, and between the 80 years of me and my dad's Scouse living, neither of us have heard it regarded as such. You also provided no reference to the contrary so... SteveLamacq43 18:34, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Image question
editYou said: "Dear Yamla, I had planned on downloading this image, and editing it to remove red eye, bluriness etc. however, as it's released under the Creative Commons licence, I'm not sure if I could then upload the edited version as I could with a public domain image. Even if I do give the intended attribution."
- Yeap, provided you still give credit to the original authors. See Creative Commons and Creative Commons licenses. The text of the particular license would be useful as well, of course, but the point of the cc attribution license is to "Permit others to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and derivative works based upon it only if they give you credit." The first sentence reads: "An African American (also Afro-American, Black American) is a member of an ethnic group in the United States whose ancestors, usually in predominant part, were indigenous to Africa."
So...your view that the terms African-American and Black American are "not the same" seems inaccurate. 24.148.67.71 01:32, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Here, I give you a link http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Talk:Torrie_Wilson#Is_Torrie_really_5.27_7.22.3F.3F.3F
- Just read the discussion page of Torrie Wilson and soon you will recognize that I have evidences for her peak height. You can also see Torrie Wilson and Dawn Marie on youtube.com- There Torrie looks exactly two inches taller than 5' 7" tall Dawn Marie. So please, do not remove her peak height again. Thanks. - I don't care if this information is not passable for you. I'm also a user just like you and as a Wikipedian you have to respect edits from other users. And trust me, I'm hardly one who vandalizes pages on Wikipedia because I accept the Wikipedia rules and it is certainly not a vandalism if I add Torrie's peak height. There are several pages which say that Torrie is 5' 9", you see. And wwe.com also doesn't tell the truth. Take Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for example. He is also listed as 6' 3" current and 6' 5" with his peak height. Now, please, do not revert my edits any more. Thanks a lot. Morris Munroe 14:17, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- Fortunately Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's second height has been removed too. So I'll satisfied with Torrie's height as 5' 7". But if I'll recognize that other wrestlers are noted with two versions of height then I'll add 5' 9" as Torrie's peak height again. PS: If you want to hear my opinion: Torrie is never 5' 7". She is a lot over. wwe.com is off. Morris Munroe 16:31, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Nicole Kidman
editHi. You edited my addition of Virginia Woolf as a notable role for Kidman because she won an Oscar. That doesnt mean it isnt worth mentioning. Just because she won an Ocsar for it, doesnt mean that it isnt notable. Take the page for Hilary Swank as an instance. She won 2 oscars and both are noted on her "notable roles" section and those werent put there by me. What might be obvious to you, isnt obvious to everyone. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by NYKenny (talk • contribs) 11:13, 22 January 2007.

Undertaker's Birth Year

Sly Stallone notable roles
editF.I.S.T and Nighthawks remain some of his best movies he's made. It doesn't have the world wide recognition like Rocky or Rambo, but similar to Cop Land, they both have good casts and are regarded as some of his best performances. Just because you feel they aren't doesn't give you the right to say what is well known and what is not. You can disscuss this at Stallone's page as well. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.132.68.92 (talk • contribs) 00:06, 15 June 2007.
Re-Sly Stallone notable roles
editSo what, would you take away Cop Land as on of his known roles. Sorry, but there are plenty of movies that fall into F.I.S.T. and Nighthawks category, films well received, but don't have the great recognition. Cop Land is a terrific movie with a great cast that was reviewed very well by most critics, as well as F.I.S.T and Nighthawks. These three movies don't get the attention they deserve, but that doesn't stop it from being his best movies. If you're going to change for Stallone, you might as well go ahead and change each and every other actor’s page. Not my fault if you don't read the reviews of film, good day.
Stallone
editWhat are you talking about, near every review I read for both movies were positive. There are links to both movies where you could look at reviews; obviously it's not just opinion, if most reviews are positive of the films. These are two very good performances by Stallone early in his career, before he opted out to be an action he-man, and deserve attention for those who doubt him as an actor. Reviews will agree with me, so like Cop Land, neither were box office successes, but they were critical success, what more do you want.
African American
editYour repeated changes to the African American page aren't constructive. And furthermore, you refuse to present any justification for those changes on the talk page. If you can provide something more substantial than "it's just not true" please post it on the article's talk page. CJ 00:52, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

editHelp - English/British
editAs someone who previously supported using English on the Daniel Craig page, I would very much like your help. I am having great problems at the Bernard Manning talk page, with one user who states Manning cannot be English, mainly because he has Irish and Jewish ancestry. He fails to see that it is a unwritten consensus that we use English/Scottish/Welsh, and to be honest I feel that he and I arguing each other is getting no where. He also fails to accept the comprimse a third user suggested. Anyway, I would be very grateful if you could help out, I could do with some support! --UpDown 15:25, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
