Question on Xenocidic's talk page
I responded to your question regarding TVs at Xenocidic's talk page with this edit. Useight (talk) 05:17, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject: Unreferenced Article Cleanup
I saw that you joined this project back in Feb. I recently joined and have been working on the project page, just wanted to let you know that I created a shortcut WP:WUAC, a Userbox and an Invitation template for the project. Cheers! --Captain-tucker (talk) 18:19, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Unlock the Arrogant Sons of Bitches page for editing, please. Allow some time for the work to be compiled. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Daneatdirt (talk • contribs)
- You're more than welcome to work on the article in your own space at, User:Daneatdirt/Arrogant Sons of Bitches. There is no evidence to suggest the band is notable and the repeated re-creation led to to protection. Once you complete the draft in your userspace, let me know and if it meets notability standards, I'll be happy to restore it or show you how to take it through deletion review. Note this was the same suggestion already made on your talk page. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 18:52, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

We've found some better sourcing: seems she usually went by "Sally", which is why refs were hard to find. Would you like to withdraw the nom, or do you prefer to let it play out?--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 18:02, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- Withdrawn already. Sorry I was offline or certainly would have done so sooner. Hadn't found any reference of Sally, explains why Sarah Moormann (also saw someone note the lack of second "N") and Sarah Scharper alternates hadn't found anything. Thanks for your help with it. Help in creating a decent museum article quickly
Cari,
I'm currently developing Cedarmere-Clayton Estates for WP:NRHP. The Clayton estate is also currently the Nassau County Museum of Art, xlinked from the intro. I'd like to see if I can get a double DYK out of this ... if you have time, could you possibly develop or help develop something of the requisite length so it will be a valid nom? There's a lot of info on their website; I can easily add some from the nom if anything's relevant, too. Daniel Case (talk) 16:35, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
I've started the article now, too (lots of sourcing off the museum's website). I may be able to add some history from the NRHP stuff, but if you could flesh it out some, that would be great (the hook fact I'm thinking of, and we've got time, don't worry, is that the two estates allow you to visit both the museum and William Cullen Bryant's house ... an interesting combo). Daniel Case (talk) 19:08, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
OK, I've listed it at DYK, after adding a history section sort of summing up what the museum has on its website and what the NRHP nom says to make it long enough. I'd be interested in seeing what you add to it, what a museum article should have, since I've never really written one on a museum per se (save Hudson River Maritime Museum, really). If you add to it I'll add your name to the nom. Daniel Case (talk) 14:38, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
I saw also that you linked the two highways you drove down on. Take the time today to appreciate NY 32, the Main Page FA, which I wrote most of and photographed. Daniel Case (talk) 14:44, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
And while we're on the subject of museums ...
What do you think of my suggestion here? If we can have that whole Category:Maritime museums and museum ships in New York category, we ought to separate the NYC art museums too. Daniel Case (talk) 14:44, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

My RfA
Travellingcari, you vote on my RfA was neutral. I like this line: While guidelines are necessary, I don't think they should be treated as absolutes.[1] I want to become an admins someday. Do you have any suggestion for me? Take care, Masterpiece2000 (talk) 02:33, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- I think the main one I tend to go by, which isn't to say it's gospel, is treat every discussion (AfD, AN, etc.) as if it's a new one. While the guidelines are a good thing to consider, they aren't absolutes. There are always exceptions and reading the discussion (and article if it's AfD) may give you clues to make a case that "While (subject) may not specifically meet (criteria) they have done/been recognized for/etc." I'm not necessarily a inclusionist but I enjoy trying to see if an article can be saved rather than reaching quickly for delete because some guideline says so. Note, my concerns weren't as strong as those who !voted oppose and I might have changed to support later but I forgot to watchlist the discussion. Sorry about that. When your hangover passes.......
I found this [2] at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Charles Walker (checkers player), and thought you might find it interesting. It has DYK written all over it. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 22:35, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

- See, the key is dancing while drinking to warm up in frigid A/C and sweat out the alcohol :) Oh and that link has me written all over it. I'll work on it tomorrow. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 23:12, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- When I linked the afd it looked like it was going to wind up as a Delete, so I thought the best way to bring out the information is to have an article about the museum. The creator's bio eventually got saved, but I still think its best to have an article about the museum and merge/redirect the bio into the museum article. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 23:21, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- With all due respect, I think the Charles Walker article should stay separate, even if there is an article about the museum created as well. There is more than enough info in the C.W. article now that is about him personally and not about the museum, and more could be added. Plus, such a colorful character definitely deserves a separate page. I will say, however, that I first saw a reference to the article here, since Cari's talk page was on my watchlist after our recent discussion regarding the Real ID article. I got to working on the C.W. article after that. Nsk92 (talk) 23:32, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- Glad to have helped you find something interesting to work on, Nsk! I waiver between separate articles and merges for museum founders depending on whether they have achievments unrelated to their museum work. In this case, it appears that Walker does. I haven't done in-depth research yet as I'm still playing catch-up, but I think he'd be worth a mention in the museum article with a link via {{main|Charles Walker (checkers player)}} to the significantly improved article. As a whole I think the main template is underused because there appears to be a school of thought that favors either a mention in a main article or a complete separation, no link. I don't understand that because I think Walker (as an example) is linked to the museum in real life and so the two articles should be linked. I'll work on this tomorrow when I'm back on my PC. I find it to be a much more interesting read than the Real ID article :) TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 23:41, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. Not all of his achievements are positive but still... I'd like to read some more about the man vs machine matches in the 90s that he was involved in; that sounds like a fascinating subject by itself. I am thinking about ordering from the amazon the book "One Jump Ahead: Challenging Human Supremacy in Checkers" mentioned in the article since the GoogleBooks preview has rather large gaps. It looks like Go is the only traditional board game left where humans have an edge over computers and will probably hold it for a while. It is strange to think that only 15 years ago people did not think that computers will ever be good enough to beat people in chess... Nsk92 (talk) 00:06, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

You might be right in deleting that redirection, but I think you should either provide a better one or delete the request. Gossip is fiction or poorly-based speculation. It could mean a spammer is harvesting usenet for e-mail addresses, hoping that one in a thousand or so will be real. I think I can improve the hit on focused ion beam, BTW. Iontophoresis is good, but the request probably intended a gas medium. BrewJay (talk) 01:05, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
I guess I missed focused ion beam, too. Whole specific article. Hmmm. Maybe a double-ess was in the request. I'll tell you the more I get into this, the more I'm convinced that most requests are for things that hav a different name. I hav no trouble understanding that I shouldn't mask a search result with a fetch-hit on something that's only close, and when someone asks for what they probably don't want, then I'm there. This is such a case. Gossip protocol is probably about something of which very few people will ever understand the internals and details. I just flagged it for {{subst:prod|reason}} Looks to me like someone lost sleep over how hard it was to read. I would see what happens in five days, and IRC is solid, adaptable source code. Life can be funny. BrewJay (talk) 13:12, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- Can you clarify what you're asking here? There's no point in creating an article soley for a re-direct. Wikipedia does not need redirects on every possible search term and there's no article history here. Perhaps I'm missing something? TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 16:21, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- If there wasn't a point in creating an article soley for a re-direct, then there would be no point in redirection. Wikipedia will never get redirections on every possible search term, just the ones that reflect promotions or ignorance of what underlies a topic. IOW, in my example with gossip protocol, I had planned to redirect the article to routed or category:internet architecture. IP is BASED on gossip, as well...I was getting so little information from gossip protocol about design decisions that hav already been made...I'll go see if any network admins chimed in on the topic.
- I was going to try to tell you that the talkback template doesn't work for detecting new messages, but then I noticed I hadn't signed my post. If it does work, then maybe it can go into the standard signature, like it does at http://www.wikihow.com/ BrewJay (talk) 06:10, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Ok, so my talkpage is (obviously) overrun at this point (not complainin', just sayin'), so I thought I'd stop over here to let you know that I replied to your buried post that's about to get archived (re:Yankees, and how bad they are). I thought I'd offer you a couple of boxes to help you move, so here ya go! Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 23:40, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thankee sai! I do have a lot of shit. Spent this morning doing measurements and trying to lay out the room. I really wish I had the staff of Design on a Dime and Mission Organization at my disposal. Would make life so much easier. No worries from me on scores. Lips are zipped. I'm happy that a) it's an ESPN game tonight and b) there's any baseball on because Monday night television is definitely not like other nights. Rafa was wonderful. Epic match. Always loved Rafa but it was especially sweet because I feel about Federer (and the Pats like others do about the Yankees. Let someone else win already. After having spent Australia Day watching the Australian Open and two Australians play (Alicia Molik and Lleyton Hewitt), I found myself wishing they'd flip flop Wimbledon and the US Open so we could enjoy the Open on the 4th. I'm an old-school tennis fan however, Williams don't impress me. Now, Graf, Sabatini, Sanchez Vicario, Connors, Navratilova, McEnroe, Capriati... That's another story. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 00:46, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for not revealing any scores, and glad to know you're rootin for the twins:-) Oddly enough, I'm a huge tennis fan, being a recreational player me-self. I like Venus, but for some reason, I've always been put off by Serena. I was so very glad to see S.W get a whoopin' by V.W. I've watched ESPNews and ESPN several times, just to see the elated Nadal writhing on the grass after R-fed missed an easy forehand, thus the long overdue victory by my favorite Spaniard. I seriously was teary-eyed, I wanted R-fed to lose so badly. Design on a dime, eh? I've never liked the show, concept is fine, host is freekin terrible. My wife and I have always enjoyed HGTV, especially House Hunters. Another story, another day....Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 00:55, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- I like Dime... for the reasonably priced ideas. Wish I had a trump-esque budget but until then, I figure out what I can do to make it pretty without committing my life savings. Just found an old book case in my mom's basement that, although ugly, may well do the trick. That Nadal shot has been all over today and I always pause to watch it. One of the best matches I ever saw. I used to play tennis, but not so much anymore. May be the first time we're on the same side of a sporting event since I'll bet you root for another home town team. As for hockey, I couldn't care less. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 01:32, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- At the risk of alienating every other Minnesotan editor, I hate hockey. Seems pointless, never gotten into it. And as far as Dime is concerned - valid and novelideas, horrible host. If they get a new host that I can watch without the urge to throw my shoes through my (very nice widescreen) TV, I'll watch it. Until then...Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 01:39, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- hmm, *wonders where Keeper was during the TV discussion* Don't remember whose talk page it was on. I hate TV shopping, it's breaking my brain more than anything. Agreed re: bad hosts making for insufferable television. Ditto re: hockey. In 1994 I pretended to care because my mom and brother are Rangers fan but in reality, it wasn't that exciting. Same with basketball. For me it's really all about baseball and football. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 03:00, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- What TV discussion? If it wasn't on my talkpage...As for me and sports, there are two seasons: Baseball, and not baseball. I'll watch football, or basketball. I'll watch golf, but not seniors and not womens. Car racing is ass on TV, but loads of fun (maybe its the people watching?) in person. Hockey will lose out to pretty much anything else on television though, including my shoe. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 15:55, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- Found it! It was at Xeno's. I don't like TVs. I'm sticking with my ca. 1997 Toshiba TV/VCR combo because I don't want to spend the money on something that is rarely used. Outside of baseball and Sunday afternoons between Sept and Feb (and those are often elsewhere with a group of people) I watch about two hours a week. Sometimes it's on as background noise. Never watched NASCAR and related but I know its tourism value. I can't say I'm a fan of any races really, I get bored. Golf for me is not a spectator sport, nor is soccer which I used to love to play. I'm weird, what can I say. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 02:23, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

WP:HAU, Status, and you!
As you may know, the StatusBot responsible for maintaining the status of the Highly Active Users was taken offline. We now have a replacement in the Qui status system. This semi-automatic system will allow you to easily update your status page found at Special:Mypage/Status which the HAU page code is now designed to read from. If you are already using Qui (or a compatible system) - great! - no action is needed (other than remembering to update your status as necessary). If not, consider installing Qui. You can also manually update this status by changing the page text to online, offline, or busy. While it is not mandatory, the nature of HAU is that people are often seeking a quick answer from someone who is online and keeping our statuses up-to-date will assist with this. Note if you were previously using your /Status page as something other than a one-word status indicator, your HAU entry may have been set to "status=n" to correct display issues. Please clear this parameter if you change things to be "HAU compatible". Further questions can be raised at WT:HAU. This message was delivered by xenobot 23:00, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- Um, it's over my head. I'll leave the project if I need to/if it's an issue, but I think this is a bit too complicated for me. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 02:10, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Deletion of InetSoft
Hi. I saw in the deletion log that the reason given was Notability, which for companies is based largely on being covered by secondary sources.
I think that the real problem is that most of the secondary sources were not cited in the body of the topic.
Can you please undelete it, or send me the contents so I can re-post and update with additional references?
Thanks!
Cubemage (talk) 14:57, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- Here you go. You're free to work on it in your own userspace and add the references, paying special attention to reliable sources, since as you know, secondary sources are important in establishing notability. If you have any questions or would like any further help, please don't hesitate to let me know. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 15:08, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

It sounds like a New York City Landmark (oh wait, it's not). But it's old enough to be notable even if not an NRHP. Daniel Case (talk) 03:24, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
I guess so, then. But why wouldn't they have listed the designation report here? Too old? Daniel Case (talk) 04:10, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
It is on the NRHP after all. Here's proof, complete with a listing number and all (While the lists at that site may lack the newer listings, they're often a bit more complete than our NRHP lists, which for some reason I don't know reflect some imperfections in the NRIS data base scrape that was used to create them. I'll go ahead and add it to the List of Registered Historic Places in New York County, New York. Daniel Case (talk) 15:35, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
It was already there under its formal name. I will make "LaGrange Terrace" a redirect. Daniel Case (talk) 15:45, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
You do realize he already filed for a username change, right? Seems premature to me to be blocking him. It was turned down, but that doesn't mean he won't come up with an acceptable one next time -- at least, if he can edit to request it. :-) --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 20:35, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- I hadn't realised that. I'm willing to unblock, but he doesn't need to be unblocked in order to request a username. I'm going offline so can't do it myself, feel free to overturn me. I won't be offended. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 20:38, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- And I didn't know blocked users could request username changes. Learn something new every day. I probably won't overturn. :-)--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 20:43, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yep because s/he can edit her own userpage to do so. Doesn't appear interested, apparently. Probably not a fan of "It's spam, quit it." Option to overturn me remains since I'm on semi wikibreak and am around on and off, at best. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 00:40, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
moneyfacts move
Just in case you think I'm psychic, I had no idea you had just deleted the redirect. I just decided to move moneyfacts at that moment. (Hmm, maybe I am psychic.) Let's say it was a coinkydink. Phlegm Rooster (talk) 21:12, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the remarks on Conway. I didn't know the article was proded before. I'll think about an AfD. Regards, Artene50 (talk) 02:01, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
the wacky west
"Bay area Wikipedians may be interested in the wikimedia-sf mailing list." I get that message at the top of my screen now. I'm like, wait, I live on the East Coast! Heh. Still getting used to staying out here in California. Went to Reyes Point on Monday. Hoping to get back on Tuesday in time to watch the All Star Game. I'm actually interested in it this year. Albophobia
Help. How do I carry out a second nomination for deletion on Albophobia? I did the first step and it leads me to the old archived discussion here: [3] I'm confused Artene50 (talk) 01:36, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you Cari. I'll try that. I didn't know that deletion formula for second deletion nominations. Cheers, Artene50 (talk) 07:23, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Vokes Theater, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Vokes Players. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:37, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, bot. I'm merging the articles. It will be fixed. TCari My travels 13:38, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
Image without license
Unspecified source for Image:Colonnade row.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Colonnade row.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:59, 16 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Inclusionist request for Deletion
Hey TC...we met w/EbayRocknroll or sumthin like that. Can you check the most recent addition to the List of Belgian-Americans site re:Bruggeman. First off...its Waaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooo long. Everyone else is a couple or three concise sentences. But,more than that it reads like an article for Zagat's Food Rating of Resturaunts in California. Ive never done a major delete or revert but I would like to learn how. thanks..--Buster7 (talk) 00:45, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- That doesn't appear to be an article. Is there another link? TravellingCari 23:50, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Can you please restore and reopen this discussion! WP:Snow do not apply here ! This is as notable as 1983 NFL season and don't go to WP:Other stuff exists Gnevin (talk) 19:00, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- I suggest you read notability guidelines and then consider working on it in your userspace, for example at User:Gnevin/Roscommon Senior Hurlng Championship 1989. At the moment it is not suitable for the mainspace, as the AfD highlighted, which went for more than week rather than the three hours you claim. It is not as notable as an NFL season. TravellingCari 23:46, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- Just here passing through, but if snow didn't apply, a regular delete would have. that was relisted twice and the original posting date was the 10th of July. Protonk (talk) 00:19, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, Protonk. It's a delete, no matter what adjective comes with it. TravellingCari 00:33, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
(unrelated to previous discussion) congrats on your new cool sig. Must have found it on some old box while unpacking. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 01:35, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- Nope, if that were the case it would still be lost. I think I found it in paint cans :) TravellingCari 02:18, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- I see it was open a week , sorry misread the date. If Roscommon Senior Hurlng Championship and NFL are notable albeit at different levels and if 1989 NFL season is also notable why isn't the Roscommon Senior Hurlng Championship 1989 notable ? To which article does this precedent now apply ? Is Dublin_Senior_Football_Championship_2007 the next to go? Gnevin (talk) 16:13, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- If someone nominates it for deletion and the consensus is that it should be deleted, then yes. I have no personal opinion, which is why I close some sports AfDs. I don't particularlty care what the 'answer' is and can close it according to consensus. I know more about the NFL than the Dublin league so I can't judge. I'd say leagues are notable and per consensus some seasons are. I'd suggest a discussion about a wikiproject on that for clarification. TravellingCari 17:12, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ok thanks Gnevin (talk) 23:02, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Art museums in NYC cat
Just wanted to let you know I finished populating the new Category:Art museums and galleries in New York City a couple of days ago. The entries there, not all of which may well be notable, accounted for two-thirds of the whole NY parent cat. We needed it. Daniel Case (talk) 21:40, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Move InetSoft back to public space

- I think the apostrophe made it hiccup. The Afd is here. Don't know how to fix it in the deletion log though. Any ideas? TravellingCari 03:56, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sure, undelete it and redelete it with the proper title. :P Good night! KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 04:31, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- P.S. I went ahead and did that due to sheer boredom. KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 04:34, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Learn something new every day, I didn't think of that. I think Wikipedia needs to "speak" apostrophe better, it's funny how often they break things (also thinking how they break Twink;e's AfD listings). Thanks for fixing. TravellingCari 11:47, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

- Link no workee but *thwap* anywhoo :-p 3 games out is better than where they were. I can't pick on you since I don't know who your team is, I'll just say there's two months left. I have said off-Wiki, a trade won't solve the Yankees issue which is consistency. TravellingCari 02:03, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Dunno why no workee, it works for me. Anyway its a link to a Mike Mussina profile. I realized it is kind of unfair to rib you without disclosing my loyalties, so here goes: (and I think this will confirm your suspicions) its the New York team that was the latest to come closest to the World Series. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 02:10, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Working now, wasn't before. Maybe my network flaked. Moose is allowed to have an off day. The fact that I was ready to put him to pasture earlier this year, nonwithstnding, I'm pretty happy with how he's pitched. You're on a good run -- they seem to be trading streaks. From what I hear in the rumour mill, you may be soon to acquire a whole heap of trouble and to that I wish you welll. I don't dislike your team, except for when they're playing each other. - You wish you'd get that Yankee killer off Boston, but I don't know. Manny and the Boston management are forever fighting, but they always manage to stay together. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 02:24, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Nah, Manny isn't quite the killer that Big Papi is. He ran his mouth this weekend and I think it might be the real deal. Sox/Mets powers that be were meeting today, we'll see. I don't want the washing machine either. Trades don't help a lack of consistency. I hope Jorge can come back next year, same as Matsui. When Izzy pitched against the Mets this weekend I had to chuckle -- I remember when he and Pulse were "The next big thing". Pulse has done well. TravellingCari 02:28, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, but they all did better then a third of the trifecta who fell off the face of the planet. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 02:32, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Without a doubt, I didn't even remember his name until I looked up Izzy. Some spectacularly non-NPOV language in that one but much as I love baseball, fixing those articles breaks my brain. Waaaaay too much passion and ego getting in the middle. I stick to my museums, no one cares. I miss WikiCite though, need to learn citations on my Mac. TravellingCari 02:35, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Or are you upset about your pay and you're pulling a Manny?--brewcrewer (yada, yada) 02:10, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Oh that's classic. Glad he could laugh about it. Talk about missing the cut off man! I'm glad to see the Yankees explode for 13, I'm just hoping that wasn't their run quota for the next week. Guess I'll have to go up for recall, huh? Some have even more nerve, Keeper takes off whole weekends at time --- the nerve! :) TravellingCari 02:15, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Malta Enterprise
Hello there! I saw that you were responsible for blocking the user with the name Maltaenterprise -- I reported that one earlier today. You also deleted the article created by that person, also called Malta Enterprise. I wanted to give you a heads up that I plan to recreate that article -- I lived in Malta after I left Portugal and I know that agency very well. It is a shame they went about getting coverage here via spamming, because they do a great deal of fine work in bringing commerce to the country. I'll do them a favour and get a properly referenced, NPOV article online in the near future. I hope all is well with you. :) Ecoleetage (talk) 16:55, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Eco, absolutely. I didn't SALT the title. I wasn't even going to delete it because it seems to be a notable agency but it was a complete copyvio from "The Corporation" section here. I have no doubt you'll create a wonderful article, but the spam that was there wasn't it. Let me know if you have any questions. Things here are well -- just a bit too hot for my liking. You've lived all over, haven't you? :) We should swap travel stories one day. TravellingCari 16:59, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Putting together a new article is not a bother -- it keeps me out of the pool halls. I will let you know when that is up and running. Be well. Ecoleetage (talk) 17:04, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Oh but pool halls are far more fun! TravellingCari 18:18, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
