Re:Tilde Message
I'd like to thank you for your efforts, Staka, mainly on reporting this to me. You've always been loyal and someone I could put my trust on. If only every nogoodnik on Wikipedia would be replaced with a user like you, things would definitely be a lot better. Once again, thank you, Staka.
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:CROSSING Cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:CROSSING Cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:08, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
--Tiyoringo (talk) 23:51, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Kröller-Müller Museum
Hello Staka, we met each other a few times the last days about the sculpture garden we both seems to love in the Netherlands. Though the name KMM appears German, in fact it is 100% Dutch but both names are of German origin. I was surprised to see so many image (new ones) on the en-wikipedia page and I directly went to the Wikimedia Commons pages. You must know, that the categories around Modern sculptors/Modern sculptures/Sculpture Parks and Gardens etc. are newly set up by me since April 2007 (and I hope with some success) and now I am exporting the images gathered there to more existing and to be written pages in local wikipedia's as nl-wikipedia en en-wikipedia. And that is how we met. Please upload as many free images from sculptures as possible as they are needed. Articles without images are so booring! To-day I have only one question to ask: do you have an image taken from the entrance-party of the KMM-building when you were there in 2006. Please Staka know that I am in ill-health and not able to visit the sculpturepark myself. I have to enjoy the newly published excellent book (2007) on the park and its history and the complete collection, richly illustrated. (English version Sculpture Garden Kröller-Müller Museum: ISBN 978-90-9562-585-6 Parameter error in {{ISBN}}: checksum NAI Publishers/Rotterdam/The Netherlands) See you--GerardusS (talk) 08:58, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry to hear that you are in ill-health. I only took pictures of the sculptures inside the museum's sculpture park and the two at the front of the museum entrance. The 6 pictures I added to the article are the only ones I took at the museum.
- If you could, please add the title and the author of those 4 sculptures I didn't add description of.. I didn't find much information on them. Well I'll probably be adding more pictures I took while I was in the Netherlands, so I'm hoping to seeing you again.--Staka 17:42, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
KDDI Designing Studio
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article KDDI Designing Studio, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of KDDI Designing Studio. Kannie | talk 02:02, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of LISMO-kun
A tag has been placed on LISMO-kun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Naming convention
Hello there. I was under the impression that Japanese names for modern figures would be in the Western order of <given name> <family name>, as described in Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(Japan-related_articles)#Names. If you have a reason for using the opposite order, please let me know. I was hoping we can make the names of the persons we are both editing, namely members of AKB48, consistent.
--K kc chan (talk) 20:47, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- I believe redirection is the most probable and practical method, since almost every article of a Japanese national can be found using both orders. For example, one can key in "Fujimoto Miki" or "Koizumi Junichiro" and still get to Miki Fujimoto or Junichiro Koizumi. It would make searching for the particular person easier.

Replaceable fair use Image:Oota_Aika.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Oota_Aika.JPG. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use media which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Addhoc (talk) 23:49, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
AKB48 on Kouhaku Utagassen
Sure thing. Just give me a few days to figure out which one is which, and I'll get those screenshots on the Wiki. Also, I can't guarantee that all the girls will have a close-up shot for them, since most of them did not participate on the A-side. However, I can also get screenshots from other programs if I can find the video for it.
--K kc chan (talk) 03:33, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- I did a head count, there were 46 girls performed that night. Also, just for comparison purpose, Hello! Project had 45 girls performed on stage - 9 from Morning Musume, 7 from Berryz Kobo, 7 from C-ute, and 22 from Hello! Project Egg as dancers.
- --K kc chan (talk) 10:34, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Do you know who is the girl in this picture?--K kc chan (talk) 15:15, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
You know, I don't think any of the administrators cares about the legality of the photos. I once created an article about Hitomi Komatani, and it was tagged for deletion in about 10 minutes of its creation. I put a dispute tag on the article and my argument in the talk page, but the article was still deleted without any counter argument from any administrator within a day. My guess is that these administrators did not personally examine the situation but instead have their bots do the tagging and deletion. This is somewhat frustrating. --K kc chan (talk) 06:25, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Ayaka - For today Cover.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Ayaka - For today Cover.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 22:37, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

I have given up on fighting the administrators. It is virtually useless to engage in discussion when no one is responding. Anyway, do you have any other way to obtain free-licensed images? I was rather surprised that the Japanese WikiPedia does not have images of AKB48. --K kc chan (talk) 03:31, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- You should see how many notification I got on my other account; I uploaded the pictures of all the players of a baseball team in Taiwan, and all of those pictures got deleted within a few months. I guess whoever makes this policy did not take into consideration the situations in non-English speaking countries. I'm not sure about Canada, but in America most concerts do allow still camera and some even allow video camera (I worked as security in some concerts before), and maybe that's why the policy-makers think it is easy to acquire free-licensed images by ourselves. Until we can locate any free-licensed image, the best we can do is to use the album covers to represent the group since album covers is permitted under the fairuse policy. --K kc chan (talk) 05:21, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- I guess we can use screenshots of PVs on the article of the album, then use the same images in the articles of individual members. It seems to be okay as long as the images are attached to at least one article that solely describes the related album/song. The same can probably be applied to the screenshots of Kouhaku, if we create a separate article specifically for 2007 Kouhaku. --K kc chan (talk) 23:54, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

RE:Pokemon Userbox
Heh, sorry about the confusion. By "Evolution", I wasn't referring to each line's metamorphosis-like change. I was talking about real-world evolution.
It was a joke, really. We have Arceus, who is the "Pokegod" that created the pokemon, and we have Mew, who is said to be the biological source containing DNA for most pokemon. I just drew a parallel to real-world Evolutionist vs. Creationist debates. You Can't See Me! 22:38, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:AKB48logo.png
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:AKB48logo.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 15:57, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:GundamThrone units.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:GundamThrone units.jpg.
Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 03:44, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, but I do not own that manga. Perhaps you could ask the main contributors to the article about it?.--十八 20:54, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Hey, hello project question here.
Hello, I've asked this question a million times, yrt no one seems to be able to answer me lol. What exactly is the "center role" in songs? For example i've read ishikawa is the center in the peace and murakami is the center in wakkanai(z). So what exactly does this mean? please send your response to my email johnbo1989@aol.com. thank you so much. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.231.209.201 (talk) 10:47, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I created the skeleton. Just be sure to update the On this day.../this month... section, or the Did you know... section. Cheers, --Bolonium (talk) 17:48, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Re: Hayate the Combat Butler figurines
While unconventional, and usually not listed, it's not wrong to list additional merchandise, though I think the main reason it usually isn't listed is due to lack of interest or otherwise no one gives the time to research it properly or cite it well. Not to mention that the amount of additional merchandise for any given series is staggering, and it would be a mess to list of all it. That said, I don't see anything wrong with what you are proposing.--十八 00:23, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sochi Olympic Park, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://sochi2014info.com/sochi-olympic-park. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 16:15, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
