"scary story" about White Rock Lake
editBefore you add back that "scary story" about White Rock lake, you need to document it. The story you added is a common form of folklore that is not unique to WRL. Nova SS 20:16, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Jaws
editHi there! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. However, please do not re-add false or inappropriate information to an article as you did to Sci fi channel. The consensus is that Jaws is a horror movie. Attempting to re-add such information without discussing it first is tantamount to vandalism, and could get you blocked from editing. --Janus Shadowsong | contribs 17:06, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Sci Fi Channel (United States). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. . Specifically in regards to "Jaws" and "Poseidon Adventure" which consensus has deemed a Horror movie. -- KelleyCook 17:38, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
3rr warning
editYou currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. -- KelleyCook 17:43, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank out (or delete portions of) page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Sci Fi Channel (United States), you will be blocked from editing. Lradrama 08:25, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
TRUE INFO
editHello, thanks for putting across your issues to me.
Can I first tell you that I am MALE and not female, thankyou ;-).
Yes, when putting 'true' info into an article, I think it best to discuss it in the talkpage for that article first, and providing proff (i.e. a link to another site first). Then, everyone will know that you're telling the truth, and it won't get deleted. Thanks, and that's Mr. Lradrama 11:33, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
November 2008
editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to AnimeFest, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Farix (Talk) 22:06, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Sagging (fashion). Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - SummerPhD (talk) 17:04, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of The Last Voyage Of The Starship Enterprise
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Last Voyage Of The Starship Enterprise, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Not notable without substantial coverage in reliable independent sources.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Your edits to Captain_Kangaroo
editYou made substantial changes to the article which your edit summary described as "corrected typo error." As this description does not explain the massive changes, another editor has reverted the edit. Please be sure your edits cite reliable sources. Thank you. - SummerPhD (talk) 14:13, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
