I was not blanking the article, I simply forgot to write my reason. The section too long and was needlessly repeating the same information.--Southronite (talk) 20:35, 1 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

those are not very good reasons--there was little repetition. "Too long" is too vague and not helpful. Rjensen (talk) 22:32, 1 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Revivalry

edit

Please see my entry about the Revivalry on its talk page. The name "Revivalry" was used for 70 years before the demise of the Southwest Conference - where do you think David Ubben got it in the first place? It was in common, traditional use long before any of us were born. Just because something can't be found by a cursory internet search doesn't mean it isn't accurate. Please see my entry in the Revivalry talk section. This name is a tradition that goes back to Ad-Ran (TCU's original name)-Baylor's first games as religious schools. Southronite, I see that you went ahead and moved the article to your preferred title before the discussion was closed. As you've run into this issue before, I really recommend you read up on the WP:MOVE and WP:RM. You should never unilaterally move a page when it's clearly controversial - ie, when the previous name was decided by a discussion, or as in this case, when there's a currently ongoing discussion that you yourself started. Please do not move anymore articles before becoming familiar with the procedure; let me know if you have any questions.--Cúchullain t/c 13:55, 13 August 2012 (UTC) Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Boston College Eagles football seasons, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Hart (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
