Alfonso Soriano

JohnnyHighRise That's because Soriano was not on the Yankees' rosters during either World Series, hence why he did not play and is not listed among the world champions in those years. Songwaters (talk) 19:37, 25 December 2021 (UTC)

That shouldn't matter. Jorge Soler, Jason Hammel,Munenori Kawasaki all got a world series ring. They even celebrated with the cubs in 2016. No matter what players added to a ML roster before September 1st are eligible for a world series ring. JohnnyHighRise (talk) 20:52, 25 December 2021 (UTC)

JohnnyHighRise: I'm afraid it does matter. Just because someone gets a World Series ring doesn't mean they're official world champions. They have to have appeared on their team's postseason roster. I just figured I'd tell someone the info was missing. Like I said with the 3 players I named with the 2016 cubs. They didn't appear on the postseason roster. They still won a ring. Why did you deleted the reference to "splash hit?" It is both RS-supported. And there is a link on wp for it. Why do you object to that, and insist on changing it, with substituted descriptive language? It is neither arcane, nor incorrect. Home runs hit into McCovey Cove are only splash hits if a Giants player hits it; therefore, it is impossible to record a "splash hit" as both a Giants player and a visiting player. Apostrophe in We Didn't Start The Fire (Fall Out Boy)

@Theleekycauldron: I don't see an exception for songs with the curly apostrophe in the title on the album/single cover. We don't apply that to What's Going On, (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction or Maxwell's Silver Hammer. Songwaters (talk) 14:36, 2 July 2023 (UTC)

those songs are titled with curly apostrophes? if so, Spotify's overwritten them. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Darren Baker (baseball). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge.
