Less on the generic side it's always great to see a new editor who is interested in countering sistemic bias that affects in an apalling way all articles concerning Africa-related topics. Regarding the point you raised, the best place to direct the material is the already existing Battle of N'Djamena (2008). I've already redirected there your new article, to avoid to articles on the same identical topic.
