P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :)
About the translated article: translating a text from another language doesn't change the copyright status so it would still be a copyvio to just cut and paste from it. However, improving the main Itajubá article by using the translated text as a reference would be perfectly fine.

I don't want this picture on the internet, so i am erasing my image.
I removed User:Maul1701 from the missing wikipedians page because he only has less than 15 edits and left the same day he edited the page. Almost every user in that page has well over 1,000 edits and been away for more than a month. Please don't add him. Thanks --Jaranda wat's sup 02:35, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

Fill-In Merge
editHey, Sidious1701. I've pulled in what I thought were the most important points from your "Fill-It-In" article and incorporated them into Fill-In (puzzle). Let me know what you think. Phil Bordelon 21:39, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. It happened with Bourré as well, funnily enough. Me and article names. So, barring objection in the next few minutes from you, I'm going to make Fill-It-In a redirect to Fill-In (puzzle). Thanks again, and sorry you had to duplicate effort! Phil Bordelon 21:46, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Hello
editI've noticed a significant lack of saltwater related articles and wanted to start a group/portal for it. I've noticed you've edited some saltwater fish articles (anemonefish and anemones) and was wondering if you would be interested. Thanks Dark jedi requiem 01:33, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hey again. Currently I'm making code for the portal ect. If you could, it would be nice to find people who have made saltwater fish/coral/saltwater what-have-you edits that would be interested, and send them to Wikipedia:Wikiproject/List_of_proposed_projects#Marine_life and sign it yourself to get the ball rolling. edit{{Marine Life Portal}} Everything's up finally. Not completely done though. You should take a look and see what you think.
- Yeah, anyone can become a member, there isn't voting like admins or requirements like Esperanza. Just sign the Participants section and hopefully add {{Marine Life Wikiproject}} and {{Marine Life Portal}} to your user page. Thanks. Dark jedi requiem 16:37, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Hi
editHi Sidious1701. On Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_TRACS_members, you voted 'keep', and said to create a category or keep the article. I thought you should know that such a category already exists, and is used. It can be found at Category:Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. I've also mentioned this on the AfD. All the best, Proto||type 15:45, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Clam taxonomy
editHi. Just made another note on the clam discussion page. I'm no biologist, and I have no proof, just the quick google results at the time. Although as posted on the discussion page, Encarta seems to concur with your research. Jcsutton 14:11, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
- Also, you might want to check with User:Phlebas who was a previous deletor of the taxobox. His home page says he is a biologist. Jcsutton 14:17, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

A short Esperanzial update
editAs you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:NGC4051.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:NGC4051.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Image copyright problem with Image:Layers.jpg
editThank you for uploading Image:Layers.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 23:33, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Stop Motion Pro screenshot.JPG
editThanks for uploading Image:Stop Motion Pro screenshot.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sound Recorder icon.JPG
editThanks for uploading Image:Sound Recorder icon.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:29, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Microsoft Magnifier icon.JPG)
editThanks for uploading Image:Microsoft Magnifier icon.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Hugh (Star Trek)
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Hugh (Star Trek), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Hugh (Star Trek). Happy First Edit Day
editSpeedy deletion of Bedtime toy
editA tag has been placed on Bedtime toy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ukexpat (talk) 02:33, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Cosmi Corporation
editA tag has been placed on Cosmi Corporation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ukexpat (talk) 05:21, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

editThanks for uploading Image:Alligator feeding on worm.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images.
