Big Show

edit

Please stop changing his name. It's not "The Big Show", it's just "Big Show". — Richard BB 14:57, 3 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Again, his name doesn't have a "The" in it. It's just "Big Show". — Richard BB 09:23, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
What the ring announcer says is irrelevant. If you look at the link I provided on my talk page, WWE says that his official name is just "Big Show". The ring announcer isn't exactly a reliable source. — Richard BB 09:45, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'm afraid I'm really not sure what you're trying to say. Look at it this way: the official citations on his WWE profile call him "Big Show". The card that pops up when he's on the way to the ring says "Big Show". Even the damn video games and magazines call him "Big Show". And yet, because the rig announcer happens to say "The Big Show", you think it should take precedence? Sorry, but Wikipedia works off reliable sources, and the reliable sources call him "Big Show". — Richard BB 13:02, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
You're still changing his name to be incorrect. Please stop. — Richard BB 11:05, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
A twitter name doesn't consist as a reliable source. I mean, Ziggler still has the name @HEELZiggeler, even though he hasn't been a heel in almost a year. I also explained that the ring announcer isn't a reliable source. The only thing that counts is what WWE officially calls him. In all media, whether it be the profile page, video games, or even his official Facebook page, he's called "Big Show". — Richard BB 09:53, 11 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
He called "The Big Show" now. "Big Show" is omit.

Richard has been through with you on this issue before. Please stop reinserting these changes.LM2000 (talk) 02:27, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

no. youre should stop reinserting these changes.

(Response from my talk page). That video is from 2003. His profile is from 2014. Plus, as I have explained, someone on the mic may casually drop in a "the", while his profile consists of the top source. — Richard BB 09:52, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Big Show again

edit

Hi, Shinkazamaturi. Wikipedia is supposed to use the name form that WWE uses, which is "Big Show" without the "the", as you can see here.[1] I understand that you want to use the name form "The Big Show" because you have heard the ring announcer use it, but that's not the best source for an encyclopedia, WWE's profile page is. Several users have told you this. Please don't change the name again, or you may be blocked from editing. Bishonen | talk 09:12, 9 April 2014 (UTC).Reply

The title has not been renamed, which you would have known had you spent more than five seconds confirming at wwe.com. Speedy deletion nomination of 2016 WWE draft

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on 2016 WWE draft requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Regarding you removing information from your talk page. Do you just not like being shown that your wrong or breaking guidelines or do you just not care? Because if you don't care, you should be editing. Because you need to follow guidelines if you're gonna edit here. Those guidelines being WP:RS when adding random nicknames to the articles for wrestlers. When they aren't in fact nicknames, but just comments or something a commentator or fellow wrestler refers to them as, once. You and User:Ranze have the same issue. You must provided a reliable source otherwise the information will be removed per the RS guidelines. (talk page stalker) CrashUnderride 12:26, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

La Luchadora

edit

La Luchadora is not a ring name for either lynch or bliss. It is a gimmick part of a storyline in which they both hid under the mask, someone else is the actual La Luchadora now. You were told this by another editor as well here it is not an official Ring name, they do not wrestle under the name on a regular basis. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 14:01, 5 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, I agree with WarMachineWildThing. La Luchadora is not a ring name. It is a gimmick that has been used by three wrestlers at this point. It does not mean that any of them use that name. If Deonna Purrazzo is releaved to be La Luchadora, it does not mean it is her ring name either. It's the same situation as when Tara was the masked motorcycle lady on Madison Rayne's corner in TNA. It does not qualify as a ring name. Thanks. DantODB 21:48, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
Sorry, but I disagree. Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch are gimmicks too. A lot of wrestlers appeared with masked gimmicks and all of them are ringnames, like Calgary Kid, Mr America, The Spider Lady, Black Scorpion, Doink the Clown or Suicide. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for continued disruptive and incompetent editing despite warnings. @Black Kite: Actually, Kosaka Daimaou was born in 1973. See his official twitter. He acts as PIKO TARO who was born in 1963 (avex official). This is why there is a difference between 1963 and 1973. Darklanlan (talk) 16:43, 6 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm STATicVapor. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Goldust, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! LM2000 (talk) 11:52, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
