Thanks; however, the article is about the Navajo Nation, not the Navajo people. So the number would have to be the number of people living on the territory, regardless of ethnicity — do these updated figures exist somewhere? Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 01:02, 1 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Saw your major cleanup on this article. Loved it! Good luck for rewriting it so as to avoid those copy-paste tags. Waiting to read the new version. -Animeshkulkarni (talk) 21:32, 1 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

hah. I'm afraid that wasn't my point. I just found the page in that category and gave it a go. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 21:34, 1 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

copyright-violations must be removed; it's difficult enough to find them, by the way. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 22:39, 1 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
& they can be removed by editing the articles too. & that should be the 1st & best option as it retains the information that way. What say? Wanna work on it? Hi Seb. You can go ahead and have File:1 eurocent mt.gif deleted. I uploaded it a while ago before I really understood the guidelines. Thanks for notifying me. --Brandon5485 02:16, 2 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Foreign character warning boxes

edit

Hello - I just wanted to let you know that your top icon idea seems to be efficient and maybe it is time to get consensus for its adoption. I've seen an upsurge in the addition of those warning boxes recently and thought about adding your idea to discussion at Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals) but I felt you should do it, since you are the original submitter. Regards Tachfin (talk) 14:35, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, go for it, good idea. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 14:50, 3 November 2011 (UTC) Actually, I did. thanks. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 15:00, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Nicosia

edit

Hi. I'm trying to make sense of what has been going on today at Nicosia.

What, specifically, do you see as the problem with this change by MariaPetridou (talk · contribs)? I tried comparing the two versions of the page, and although I do see differences in imagery, it's not clear to me why one version would be preferred over the other. Is there a Greek/Turkish POV issue here that I'm missing? Sorry if I'm being dense here.

Also, are you saying that MariaPetridou appears to be a sock of Giorgoos (talk · contribs)? Richwales (talk) 23:58, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

a) there has been a discussion on the talkpage regarding the infobox-picture, and this is the current consensus-version (a collage that was specifically made for this article) b) Giorgoos and his socks have been replacing said collage with a different pictures (in most cases some skyline) over the past months without ever commenting @ talk or elsewhere. All this has me guess it could be Giorgoos, but I'm not sure. In any event, there's a talkpage, an Maria can use it. Cheers. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 00:08, 6 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
OK, thanks. Richwales (talk) 00:28, 6 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi there

edit

Someone just said to me "you know, I really like that we're involved in an organization where Seb feels free to say that a block by an Arb is wrong." I think he's quite right. Even though I don't agree with your opinion, I respect it, and I think you've put forward some good points. Thanks for keeping me honest. Risker (talk) 07:13, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Comments to other editors

edit

Hi Seb. Just dropping you a note to ask you to keep your comments to other editors civil.[1] We are all colleagues here, so we should treat each other with the same respect that we would use with our colleagues in real life. Thanks. Kaldari (talk) 21:25, 16 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

thanks for the lecture. since you missed the context, it's completely misguided. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 22:38, 16 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
I read the entire discussion. Just because the context is a discussion about offending people, doesn't mean that the civility policy doesn't apply. I only brought it to your attention because someone at Wikipedia Talk:Civility was complaining that you were being uncivil. Regardless, I consider the matter resolved. Kaldari (talk) 01:28, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
So do I. (and maybe next time you could give me the link right away. I now understand why you send me the message, I just don't watchlist every possible page here) Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 01:45, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Why have you inserted image in Serer people?

edit

Hi, Why have you inserted this image [2] in the Serer people article when it is evident that Halaqah is playing games?

You have just reverted my edit instead of telling him to stop the games he is playing on Serer articles. In so doing, you have helped him, stopped him from reaching 3 reverts. Please remove the image that you have inserted in the Serer article. This is exactly what Halaqah has been doing who really does not care about this article unlike some of us who have been working on it for a long time and trying to develop it. If you've read the discussions you would have found that him and I have been having problems for the past few months and he is only doing this for kicks even after my comments on the talk page. He does not care about Serer articles and merely doing this to get back at me and destroy my work. Please remove it. Thank you. Tamsier (talk) 14:28, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Oh. Yeah, I didn't mean to re-insert the image. Sorry. I was just standardizing the layout (Infobox first). Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 14:38, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
What is wrong with the image? Use the talk page to discuss if there is a problem it is used in other Serer articles.--Halqh حَلَقَة הלכהሐላቃህ (talk) 15:04, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Did you even read what I wrote ^ ? Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 15:23, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
No actually I didnt see what you wrote, as it relates to the image which is used for the Serer article? Serer article where Tamsier editsSo it is best to clarify that particular issue (I mean beyond Tamsier incessant conspiracy theories and 4ever editing editors.--Halqh حَلَقَة הלכהሐላቃህ (talk) 15:42, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for comment, can I ask you where you get this information from? I don't know if you are capable to read the source code, but it's absolutely clear that tool doesn't track anyone, it was described in the technical specification as well. Best!
