Proposed deletion of John Konrad

edit

The article John Konrad has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I've never proposed a page for deletion before, so I hope I'm doing this right, and apologise for any oversights.

I don't think the subject of this page, John Konrad is very notable.

Konrad is described as an author, but his only book does not appear to have been commercially (or critically) successful. it's listed on Amazon as bargain-bin / remaindered.

He's also a blogger who stuffs his sites full of Amazon referrer links, and I think this page has created to improve his SEO rank.

This page mentions his gCaptain blog, which is now on Wikipedia's blacklist of spam domains.

http:// gcaptain dot com/author/john/ - the "Visit Authors Website" link goes to this wikipedia page

http:// theteakrail dot com/lab/ - is another of Konrad's Amazon affiliate sites. He's bungled it, but that page too also tries to link to his wikipedia page, the link where it says "the website's cofounder John Konrad"

This page cites Konrad's own Facebook page. Another cite, Failure Magazine, doesn't look very authoritative to me, either.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
