Article 12 of the ECHR

Was this edit of mine correct? I'm far from knowledgeable about this, but thought the original wording sounded odd when five EU countries allow SSMs. Thought I'd leave you a note, anyway. :) AllynJ (talk | contribs) 20:40, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

I've meant that Austria's ban of SSM was found not to violate the European Convention - not that the Court would impose the same attitude to other countries.Satiksme (talk) 20:42, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Ah, I get you - are you happy with the current wording? I think it's a bit clearer in what it means. Or do you think we should switch it to something like "bans of same-sex marriages on a national level are permitted"? Or don't you mind? :) AllynJ (talk | contribs) 20:46, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

As the relevant section of the article lists cases of limitations to marriage, found contrary to Convention or not, I feel a need to re-phrase the current wording somehow, like "lack of recognition of SSM" Satiksme (talk) 20:50, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Nomination of Criticism of the European Court of Human Rights for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Criticism of the European Court of Human Rights is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
